Hello All,
Thanks for this great forum. Looking to order a 22 TRX in Florida. Does anyone know of a Florida Based dealership selling and offering a discount of the MRSP ?

I also live in Florida and checked a number of Florida dealerships (although certainly not all) and did not find any discounting and some wanting adm even when ordering a truck. I ended up ordering from Scott K at Leman Automotive at Morton, Illinois [email protected]. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. $5k off msrp.

Thanks, I appreciate the information. I’ve found a few dealerships (NC, TX & Ohio) that would discount off MSRP. Did they dealer handle your FL sales tax and what did you do for shipping car?

I haven't gotten the truck yet so haven't gotten to the shipping phase yet, although the dealer is going to assist me with that. I will pay the Florida sales tax to the dealer and they will take care of paying it to the State of Florida for me.

When I bought my 2020 Raptor last year I bought it from a dealer in Chicago. In that case, they did not collect any Florida sales tax and I paid that when I went to the tag office to get the vehicle titled and registered. They lined up a transport company for me and the truck brought it to my house.

So it depends on the out of state dealer you get it from whether they collect Florida tax or you just pay it directly to Florida after you purchase he vehicle.

The non-Supercharged version is it the 392 or 5.7 engine? Asking for a friend , Not sure why Ram has not put the 392 in the 1500.

I’m gonna guess it will be the 392 due to the fact the 5.7 is everything in terms of half ton Ram Trucks.

I’m NOT disputing that the Unconnect 5 will in fact be a upgrade over its predecessor.

But the bigger question is just how much functionality are you losing by not having Unconnect 5??

I mean it’s NOT like Unconnect 5 can make you a Carmel Macchiato Starbucks style lol.

If it makes you feel better, my girlfriend seems to be getting around 16 with hers, according to the Lie-O-Meter. That's with minimal city driving, but she sure doesn't stick to the speed limit, either.

lol. My 15 sport got 20ish MPG for the first week I had it before lift/tires….. (3.21’s) Post lift, I was averaging 12-13 hwy if I REALLY tried…..Post lift…. My wife could still average 16-17….. But Christ it was frustrating, almost always made me regret drinking heavily before we took a road trip.
