2022 Ram TRX latest info

I'm looking at ordering one so I hope to see it early spring but I want to wait to see what the changes are for 2022, is there a web site Ram has telling the new options for 2022 yet?
No the build and price is still on 21’s which is ridiculous because you couldn’t order a 21 since early may. Guessing maybe after the Chicago show this weekend there’ll be more info out there

We had a conference call with Chrysler yesterday about the 2022 Rams. It went over the GT models in both the Rebel and laramie trims but nothing new was covered on the TRX.

Anything about the HD trucks that’s also info I’ve been waiting on that they’re all secretive about

Actually yes, there’s been rumors for over a year about an Allison transmission for the 22’s and rumors of a respectable power bump or offering the HO engine in 2500’s along with 3500’s. I love ram but their diesels are getting spanked I know what that 6.7 is capable of they just need a trans to hold it lol

So far, the Aisin in my 3500 has held up just fine, despite always towing 8-26K and mostly in the hills.
Yeah I’ve driven aisin trucks and if you’re not hauling IMO they are rough as a daily driver

I have driven mine three times (not counting the break-in miles) without anything in tow. That's since '17.
If not towing something, I much rather drive something fun, with better performance and handling.

And it'll come in handy for picking up the TRX, which also fits the fun/performance/handling aspect much better than a 9.500-lb. diesel ever could.

For sure but I’m still on the fence I’ve had diesels for 20 years right now I have a 19 2500 that gets 16-17 locally and 20-21 straight highway trip (unloaded of course) that’s a hard pill to swallow dropping to 10-12 and 93 is 30-40 cents higher than diesel. Mind you it’s not the cost of the vehicle itself hell a loaded diesel is 86k it’s kinda about the running cost. I’m just a grunt working guy (lineman) not a multi millionaire like majority appear to be on here lol

If it makes you feel better, my girlfriend seems to be getting around 16 with hers, according to the Lie-O-Meter. That's with minimal city driving, but she sure doesn't stick to the speed limit, either.

Yeah I live in the mountains nothing is flat here and have to cut through town to get to work. Honestly not sure what I’ll do i may just buy it out of spite just because I’ve been waiting since 2016 for them to get off their asses to build it lol then after 6 months of getting rapped at the pump trade it off

Amen! I sold my 19 ram limited because of the Aisin trans. It’s terrible unloaded.

Nothing on an Allison. The transmission options are all carryover.

Wasn't that supposed to be a ZF anyway, when/if they change things?
They were in direct talks with Allison the entire diesel community has been drooling over it for a year

Contact Benny at Henrietta, TX Ram. Tell him Sam sent you and he will hook you up.

Just so people aren't misled, I wanted to follow up on this and mention that I contacted Benny and he would not sell under MSRP, but would sell AT MSRP. Just wanted to clear that up.

Hello All,
Thanks for this great forum. Looking to order a 22 TRX in Florida. Does anyone know of a Florida Based dealership selling and offering a discount of the MRSP ?
