There's no retooling to be done, and they'll supposedly work through the normally closed week.
No.Are these dates usually pretty accurate...
Is it a 21 or 22?I spoke with my dealership today that I ordered from and they said it shows my truck with a date of July 14th to leave the plant and head to dealership. Are these dates usually pretty accurate and if it’s the 14th, how many days before then is it that they actually start building the truck? They said if it leaves on that date it should be at dealership around the beginning of August. Crazy, that it takes that many weeks to go from plant to Georgia.
21Is it a 21 or 22?
This will now be the official home of staying up to date on the latest information I have pertaining to your builds!
Before you fill out the form, I have to lay a couple ground rules:
*I DO NOT work for FCA or Stelantis! So any information given could take some time to get back to me.
*The build dates I give you is the WEEK your truck is scheduled to be built. So your truck could show up on TripleB's scan up to 5 days after the date I give.
*The build dates are SUBJECT to CHANGED! Factors such as parts shortages and line issues can cause your build to get pushed back. You can leave message here in this thread and I'll investigate why it was pushed. If your build got pushed, more than likely others did as well so just give me some time to reach out to some people I know...
*I ONLY PULL BUILD DATES FOR PEOPLE WHO FILL OUT THE FORM!
*Your Build date will be listed on the 2nd tab in the tracker in tab "Build Dates." That way I don't to search for 100's of people to contact. Just go to this 1 location and done.
*If I give you a build date, you are not in D1! Your dealer can only see the SHIP Date, this is the BUILD week! You should get a ship date from your dealer a couple weeks before the date I have given you. Substract a couple days from the ship date and that is the best guess of the actual day your TRX will be built. Remember FCA sent out he email to people who have Feb or March deliveries and they still are in D status... some even less...
This is what the form looks like. Simple and straight forward. Please take your time and fill it out. I've had several people put in the wrong info.

Keep in mind that you'll have to add the one month since you ordered, and then another month until production starts.Ordered my 2022 TRX about a month ago - and judging by the amazing TRX Tracker here it looks like the average wait time is ~3 months.
Agreed! Production didn't/doesn't start until mid or late July - so that's a month of just waiting. But then you add in all the pending 2022 orders creating a big backlog to open up production.Keep in mind that you'll have to add the one month since you ordered, and then another month until production starts.
Then the three month average clock can begin ticking.
You're a month off. As it stands now, supposedly production may start August 25.Agreed! Production didn't/doesn't start until mid or late July - so that's a month of just waiting.
It has nothing to do with change of model year, but with 18,000 (I think it is) '21s to build still, and during a parts shortage, it won't happen as quickly as you'd like.Oh wow - I grossly underestimated how long it takes to turn over the assembly line for the changes in model year.
For what its worth, I spoke to FCA yesterday and they said they are starting production this week and ramping up until 8/9 when they will be at full capacity. Just trying to avoid the rumor mill….It has nothing to do with change of model year, but with 18,000 (I think it is) '21s to build still, and during a parts shortage, it won't happen as quickly as you'd like.
Originally it was predicted to be a change on 7-25, then 8-7 as I recall, and now 8-25. There also wasn't supposed to be a shut down this summer.
Well, nothing is constant except change.
Somebody should inform Donlen about that then, as they're still showing 8-25.For what its worth, I spoke to FCA yesterday and they said they are starting production this week and ramping up until 8/9 when they will be at full capacity. Just trying to avoid the rumor mill….
He didn't say they were starting on 22s. He said the factory is starting back up this week, and is expected to be back at full speed on 8/9.Somebody should inform Donlen about that then, as they're still showing 8-25.
And speaking of rumor mills...unless your info came from someone higher up at Stellantis (used to be FCA) I sure wouldn't trust it.
If you got it from customer service, I think my dog has a better idea about what's supposed to happen when than they do.
