well i guess that clarifies it...no more 2021's......now orders are 2022. Interesting.

They’ll cut over in July for two weeks (shutdown) and begin August builds. Between the normal 1500 build cycle, and adding Jeep Wagoneers to the line, probably a few material allocations just for fun, and maybe see 2022’s land at dealerships by October.

I ordered a 2018 Jeep JLR in August 2018 so you may be right.

Well I ordered on 3/30, got a vin 4/6, been in D status for 38 days now. Dealer told me projected build date is 6/14 which is 32 days, so that would be 70 days in D

I must admit that I don't feel all that sorry for people that order very early, knowing that production won't even start for quite a while, then include that wait in the time to delivery.

Interesting info. I was considering trading in my 2019 F250 (pre-trade) due to crazy demand and what I can get for the truck right now which is more than I paid for it brand new. But now I am not sure, may just keep driving it until I get the TRX.
I had a buddy order and take delivery on his 2 weeks ago. His build only took 6.5 weeks.

Yup some builds go through super fast. It just so happened to be that dealers turn.

I sold two vehicles now, while the used market is good (even gained $4K on having owned one for about 15 months), and bought a beater to use until the ordered TRX arrives.

I was wanting to sell my Tacoma....my old hunting truck.....and get a newer one when prices go down. But still waiting.....on my turn to get a TRX. Its nuts what these tacomas go for around here....and even more so now.

The 4 wheeler is dope! You can only get one when purchased with the truck.

I think the performance and technology will be impressive based on the info available. 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, 500+ mile range on a single charge, self driving, etc. The bulletproof glass and stainless steel body is just over the top extra but would make a good protest plow truck.

The people who ordered early knew production was slated for 4th quarter. It became a real shit show as the very end of the quarter was nearing and it became obvious only a few would trickle out by year end (and they weren't the launch editions). Most people had been pretty patient until then.

Yes, but to be fair...the quarter is 3 months - FCA never said "last few days of the quarter" - so I can see why people started their count from the start of the quarter.

However dealership sends me build sheet first time vin was blacked out
Now status is blocked off. Seems games are being played.

this was a dealer order that I jumped on. So it was not ordered for me directly. So it has all my mins but not all I want.
However the day I dropped a deposit 22 ordering opened.
Spoke to dealer and they are doing there best to keep me in the 21 saying we can make a deal later on the 22. Saying the trucks are scoring at auction still. But that won’t last forever.
As an ex Chrysler tech I can order a truck and get it for msrp no problem where as the one I got they want 5 over. Told them after I was approved etc. I’m not interested in paying above msrp.

they have also tried to sell me everything they could. Latest talks were drop the add on. And still trying to sell me crap.

I build these cars for a living ( yes that includes the trx). Since I unlock the pcms personally. I have also been the first one to facilitate tuning of them.

anyways should I drop this truck and just order a 22 completely to my requests and will have the new radio. Which is far superior to the gen 4.
( played with it in a 21 Durango hellcat).
My issue is my lease is up in august. But I can extend it.

I would order what you want (if you can wait that long). I would not settle on a great truck that I may find mediocre because it doesn’t have what I I want. I’ve told myself I’ll wait till I can get the one I ordered. Just my opinion.

On an unrelated note, do you know if would upgrading to the Uconnect 5 would be possible on the 21 TRX?
