1/4 Mile Times 🏁

Thanks, you too.

Everything listed above in my first post. That was a nice cool October night so air was good but it’s pretty consistent with the stage 2 inter chiller.
Do you or did you have any startup issues when the temp is hot and humid with the FI Interchiller?

I just finished the install in October so haven’t had much humidity here in IL yet.
Either Curt Dusterhoff or Kirk from FI explained to me that when humid there may be a window between like 45 and 2 hours after shutdown that it may have startup issues due to condensation built up in/on intercoolers. I have noticed some slight stumbles on startup but has never failed to start. I suspect it will be worse with high humidity. I try to hit it with a little boost to clear it out before shutting down

Yep, mine doesn’t like to start under humid conditions 45 min to about 2 hours after running. It will start, but usually takes a couple of attempts. Shutting off the interchiller/ac and hitting it with a little boost does the trick if you let the IC Coolant get to at least ambient temp before shutting off. Kirk at FI swears it is fixable via the tune by adding fuel, however Curt Dusterhoff is equally as certain it cannot be fixed via tune.

I’m not sure how to post on a forum but wanted to share my setup and results.

Maybe we should add a line for RPM and launch control vs brake boost. Would be nice to put that debate to bed with some legit data!
