Correct. Came with black and not the OEM black chrome. Can't really tell the difference without them side by side, but there is a difference.

look like they only order the brushed nickel ones(probably the cheapest option) and then give the option to paint it.

No, it comes with a black aftermarket ram logo. I was debating on swapping it over but it looked like a PITA so I left it.

The painted black emblem still looks pretty good in those pics. Very hard to tell the difference. I probably won’t move my original over again if I get the leather one. It’s a hassle and the glue I used probably ain’t gonna budge. Wish there was a source to get just the correct black chrome emblem without buying a whole $600 airbag.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think it’s a deal breaker. Sure, black chrome would be ideal, but there is other gloss black in the vehicle (e.g. radio bezel).

if that is aftermarket it is a damn close replica that I would not have any issues with it. I personally also would be fine with the gloss black vs. the black chrome.

I’d like to see something besides that Ram head on my steering wheel. Since they’re making a custom piece anyways, they could do anything there.

The mismatched emblem has been bugging me lately. I dropped off my old OEM airbag cover with the owner of the company since I live in the area. He’s going to have the leather ninjas make a new cover for me (I’m paying for it) but he’ll transfer the original emblem to the new cover.

He’s only able to source the silver emblems so this was the easiest way to make it all match.

Every time I think it’s the last time I have to remove my airbag, I end up needing to do it again. Lol. This will be like the fifth time. Ugh.

I’m annoyed with myself but I’m not pissed with the seller. The website says gloss black and that’s exactly what I received. But oh well. Lesson learned. I need to pay more attention to website descriptions.

Took like 3 months to receive mine. (About a week ago) Anytime I did contact them, I always received a response in a day, or two.

I’ve tried reaching this guy through phone, text, email, Instagram, Facebook, and even Venmo. He continues to ghost me.

I don’t understand why he won’t respond. He took my stock airbag cover two months ago now and I’ve heard nothing from him. Starting to get pretty upset.
