ZenCarbonFiber Stitched Airbag Cover Installed!

I think this would match well. Maybe someday. Not really hot on spending $500 on it.

That's actually a pic of my custom order. Although the price was a bit steep I've had it for about 7-8 months now and there hasn't been a day where I regret my purchase.

The shift boot is a bit hard to keep clean and dust-free but when you do clean it up it looks nice as it ties into the center console Alcantara.

Install is easy, literally removing a single torx screw.

These look great ! Any concerns with the cover not coming apart, to allow proper airbag deployment, as OE in a crash?

Just got a picture of mine from production...should have it in hand within a week or two....

any installs on the leather wrapped ones? @PabloK @Jakerx
I picked mine up from the vendor yesterday. Happen to be local. I leave for a business trip tonight but I’ll try to get it installed today before the wifey gets home (she doesn’t need to know about it, lol).

Edit: Will have to wait until next week. Ran out of time. Quality is excellent though. Leather and stitching look and feel great.

Really wanna see one of these leather ones installed. I might move on from the alcantara for one.

For anyone considering the alcantara one, handle with care. I was brushing it with the rest of my suede to get the grain looking right (I know). In doing so I degraded the clarity of the airbag and horn stamps by swiping across them a few times with a horsehair brush. Guessing they are just melted in and not very well at that. Not a big deal but worth mentioning.

If you brush the alcantara airbag cover (like you would to clean the rest of the suede) the stamped airbag and horn logos get messed up easily. I probably could have just said that.

that sucks, but after looking at your pictures i can see how that would happen. I have a feeling I’m going to end up with one of the leather ones also and then have to take my airbag off once agian. :ROFLMAO:

Just got a picture of mine as well.
I admit that I don't spend a lot of time looking at my air bag cover but how are these covers different from stock? Is it the color of the stitching?

the factory airbag cover is like a plastic. its has no stitching, its not leather or suede

I'm home today from my business trip. I'll install here in a bit and post a pic.

Just got mine installed today! Looks great! I was debating on switching the black ram head to the oem finish (black chrome) but decided to leave it. Overall VERY happy with it. Also installed the adaptive cruise control switch at the same time.
