Towed this 2022 Jayco Jayfeather this weekend. Towed better than I expected it to.

Did 1200 miles with my 28" triple axle covered car trailer across Europe last week with my Porsche 991, plus two spare sets of wheels and tools in the trailer and was really surprised how well the TRX did, we can't use weight distribution hitches here so it was a little squatted at the rear

Tongue weight is supposedly 695 but with the added gear in the front storage compartment I’d guess closer to 850. I averaged 9.5 mpg through mostly hills.

Just an old chain hand me down from my brother. It’s a pretty old WDH made by eaz lift.

Wow, that's great! I've been real interested to see what kind of range these trucks will get while towing something that heavy.

For now, just the family mountain bikes for our weekend outings. We are looking into a home at Lake Arrowhead so perhaps a small boat at some point. Who buys a TRX for its towing capability though? Can't wait to get mine and let her rip on and off road. Mojave trail is something that I will for sure do next year.

How did the Gladiator do towing?
I sold my Raptor a couple weeks ago and have been driving a Grand Cherokee until I get another truck…. deposit on the TRX but considering changing to a 3.6 AWD Gladiator, kinda liking the smaller size around the city!

You would think they'd slap a 392 in the gladiator by now.....then and only then would a gladiator be an option for me

If they do that I'll buy a Gladiator. I think the V8 is too heavy for the Jeep honestly and hangs too low. It is awesome yes, but needed? not really as you need torque not horsepower.

Can Am X3 max on a 16-foot trailer I had made for it. Approximate weight: around 3000-3200 pounds. Pulls like it's not even there but it does drop me down to 8.5mpg on the interstate going 75-80 or 10mpg on the side roads 65-70.
