RAM-TRX.com Legend We Lost Bambi Yesterday

Tough read after not being on for a few weeks, my deepest sympathy to you and the family. I always got a kick out of that guy.

Wow!

Like everyone else commenting, I was completely caught off guard to say the least. I saw a post on FB and had to come read for myself.

I didn’t know Bambi personally either, but like many others, I’ve enjoyed reading his posts and shared some similar hobbies.

Every day, the first thought going to the forum was “what’s Bambi saying today?”

It’s funny how you can not really know someone personally, but share something as simple as this forum and consider them a friend.

This one’s to Bambi! Cheers and RIP

Man, this really sucks. I enjoyed Bambi's posts, many of them back amd forth were always great. I'm sorry for his family's loss and let's all spill some beer for our lost homie.

He will be missed!

Sponsorship video coming soon…?
I'm like seriously at a loss with this right now. I didn't even like Bambi at first and then over text, forum posts, calls, PM's, I damn sure consider him a friend now. I was talking to him a lot behind the scenes. I kept telling him November, November, I'm back full steam to get stuff rolling. And this happens right before November.

I'm going to do something, I don't know what it is but I will do something

If you’re talking about the race TRX, I had (have) tire, wheel, communications and lighting sponsors set up for it too. Hate to see that dream die…. Keep me in the loop if it’s still a go.

i dont post much but like many of you check the site religiously several times a day. A few members posts stick out to where you feel like you know the authors. His were those, almost like a family member is gone. Condolences to all those who knew him in person and to those of us that knew him in other ways. Will be missed.

Well, I haven’t posted or really lurked this forum in a while, but I was drawn to it tonight. I have to say, as a cop, his discussions made me cringe sometimes… okay quite a bit, but I kept coming back for more. I know I made some money on his crypto advice and realized I’m glad to be married so not to have to deal with dating websites 😂

RIP Bambi and my condolences to his friends and family.

To Bambi's Brother and family, I would like to pass on my sympathy and condolences for your lost.

IMO and impression of Bambi, he was a bigger than life type of a person who lived day by day to the fullest, who was also an ambassador to that life style.

After being his fire partner one evening or maybe two ( we were just having fun), on the Raptor Forum :ROFLMAO:, The Last Post comes to my mind, I don't know if it was planned or not by Soulsea, but the "Last Post" has been played every evening at 8 pm since 1928 by buglers of the local Last Post Association at the war memorial at Ypres in Belgium. Last Post is the bugle call that signifies the end of the day's activities. It is also sounded at military funerals to indicate that the soldier has gone to his final rest.

Bambi.....to you 🍺

Well said Mark

All,

You don't know me, but I am Bambi's brother-in-law. Yesterday, Bambi, the Stripper Hunter, died.

Bambi spent a lot of his time here and loved his Ram TRX, as you all no doubt know. You also know that he lived an outsized life and spared no one from a good ribbing. We lost him far too early. But he really did live his life according to the quote in his forum profile: “Only those are fit to live who are not afraid to die.”

If you have any memorable stories of Bambi, from a solid burn to a Raptor owner, which I am, or anything that tells the world just how unique Josh was, please message me. It will bring a smile.

Thanks,
Bambi's Brother

Wow. I haven’t been on the forum for a while and this news is shocking. Count me in as a Bambi fan. His insights and posts were so entertaining. Many nights I woke my wife up when something Bambi said got me laughing out loud.

I would love to see Josh’s obituary and learn more about his life. He said he was a pokemon illustrator (obviously successful) and that is just one of many mysteries to me.

Condolences to Josh’s family! He will be sorely missed!

@Bambi's Brother my deepest condonlences to you and your family. As you can see from everyone's responses, he was an absolute force/enigma/villain/hero on here, and he will be truly missed by all. I know that many (all?) of us enjoyed his irreverence, particularly when he tempered it with self awareness and a lighthearted attitude. He was truly unique, and never seemed to take himself too seriously. That kind of character is often hard to come by these days. RIP @Bambi

"Not for distribution. I need to crop out my face and blur the mirror.
Lost most of the brakes halfway through lol."

Those are Josh's words, about a video he sent me in early October. Well, between issues with the internet and being busy as usual, and rarely watching videos, I didn't watch it until just now.

Driving fast on twisty 2-laners. Check.
Passing every vehicle in sight. Check.
Having the gauges up on the performance pages. Check.

No wonder we got along so well. Yep, I'll miss you Josh.
