Yeah, they draw from the same bag of a canned responses. Didn’t remember to ask them about their definition of “very soon”. But I’ve heard the same thing for month so we might disagree on that assessment.

But color is only a phenomenon of light. And black is the absence of light. So I think black is lighter since it’s not a color at all. They don’t even paint the black trucks. Just turn the light off on them. That’s why they are $100 cheaper.

You're correct, OnTheReel. White reflects all colors, black absorbs them all, so it's technically no color.
Yet, white in indisputably lighter, and also makes it easier to see when crossing the finish line first.

Silver used to be fast, in the Thirties and Forties, which is why Mercedes used that color on their race cars.

My salesman just texted me pictures of MY TRX!!!
I still more than likely won't see it until next week (it has to ship from UT to MT). That said, it's pretty damn awesome to know it is actually real!

I've had all of my parts allocated for about 5 weeks now. No build date. No ship date. Just don't bother us for a few weeks, but we are here 24/7 if you need us.

I've had all of my parts allocated for about 5 weeks now. No build date. No ship date.

Which in and of itself is questionable. I feel like if they had all the parts for our rigs “gathered”, they wouldn’t have closed the plant down the week before last due to lack of parts.

But whatever, I don’t pretend to know what goes on in that plant or how anything works. I amuse myself with chat and Jeff if it’s a slow day, but don’t believe in them.

Did you order graphics, rock rails, steps, tonnau cover? These could be “extra’s” that need to be installed.

Well there’s your hold up. I went with Rock Rails and the bed side TRX sticker, and I think that held my truck up a bit as I had a similar canned message that you posted.

At what status is a build sheet issued? Frame? Paint? Inspection?

No word from Jeff since the email about the shutdowns. I was at the dealership with another vehicle for service and my salesman told me I went D1 a few days ago. The good news in all this is that they have a plan to move forward. Also, if I’m in D1, then all the parts are now available for anyone that was waiting for whatever. Estimated ship date range is the week of the 2nd. They may hold it for a week for @juicebox’s to get finished as we are going to the same place.

I just saw a post from KnightMare that said he heard production might shut down again next week...go figure. If that's the case, I hope they don't hold up yours to wait for mine! But maybe, just maybe, Jeff is in beast mode this week and will start my truck early and get her on a train with yours

I am secretly ok with another week shutdown to ensure I am not on vacation when mine gets delivered to the dealer lol. Its not that I don't trust them to hold my truck, but if some chum drops a duffle bag of 100k on the show room floor, I couldn't fault them for selling her and telling me to go pound sand.

Slow day at work today, so I doubled up and hit up RamChat. It was my first interaction with Beth-Anne, and she did not disappoint in the dream crushing category. All she was able to do was confirm "The vehicle should be entering the build process very soon". So she didn't even have access to the estimated build/ship dates that my dealership sent me a screenshot on a few hours ago. It's ok, though, I really have no expectations anymore. Hitting up RamChat is just one of those weekly "to do" things that brings me a glimmer of hope for those brief few seconds you see they are typing a response that may just make your day, but never will
