VIN “811 & 812” April Order Group

No word from Jeff since the email about the shutdowns. I was at the dealership with another vehicle for service and my salesman told me I went D1 a few days ago. The good news in all this is that they have a plan to move forward. Also, if I’m in D1, then all the parts are now available for anyone that was waiting for whatever. Estimated ship date range is the week of the 2nd. They may hold it for a week for @juicebox’s to get finished as we are going to the same place.

Ok @Two. We need updates
Made it there, loaded up, and made it home again. Not completely without some drama, though.

Got "Incorrect DEF, see dealer" message five miles from home, then a check engine light 10 miles later. About another 50 miles after that, the dreaded 150-mile countdown to 5 mph popped up on the EVIC.

That means turning the engine off, long idling, or refueling, would limit the top speed to 5 mph (limp mode). And I still had almost 400 miles to go.
Well, I had no intention of doing either of those, so kept going and made it to the dealer, as instructed by the EVIC's message.

Got there before closing, and there they reflashed the ECM, which made the check engine light and message go away. Not being completely confident in the situation, I got fuel ASAP, to make it home again without having to stop.
And sure enough, five miles later the message reappeared, then the check engine light, and eventually the 150-mile countdown started.

Now that the decision to drive back the same day had been made for me, I could only hope there would be no flat tires or getting pulled over on these largely desolate 2-lane roads, forcing me to stop.

Anyway, made it home before 3 AM, and as you can see, it looks like any white TRX. For now.

Now the forced limp mode (AKA break-in) can begin.

Congratulation to both of you..👍👍.. I hope you get it soon and start enjoying in it.. I can wait to see mine in production 🤞

Bummer on the truck giving you a hard time @Two , but at least the TRX is home now! I'm looking forward to taking delivery of mine in a couple of weeks (I hope it's not more than that).

Just got an email from my dealer. There's a chance I may see my TRX show up by the end of next week (I'm still planning on the first week of August).

From my dealer:
So the truck just got dropped off the rail in Roper Utah and with it being the weekend and a holiday for Utah on the 24th, I expect this to be on my lot some time next week. At that point, provided I can line up everything for shipping, best case would be end of week next week. Worst case scenario 2weeks from now, possibly later, but I wouldn’t anticipate that.

Is there a link available to look for my build sheet? According to my dealer, I have a ship date of 08/09...

Had to get a white one, after learning that light vehicles have higher top speeds.
And white is the lightest color available.
But color is only a phenomenon of light. And black is the absence of light. So I think black is lighter since it’s not a color at all. They don’t even paint the black trucks. Just turn the light off on them. That’s why they are $100 cheaper.

This is awesome news congrats! Did your dealer give you the new estimated ship date ?
No, I haven’t talked to them yet. I’ll check later today to see if they have any updates.

Well let us know, dealer told me today I have estimated ship date of 8/07 Vin# 813 but I highly doubt it lol

They must be coping and pasting this response. Had the same conversation.

Yeah, they draw from the same bag of a canned responses. Didn’t remember to ask them about their definition of “very soon”. But I’ve heard the same thing for month so we might disagree on that assessment.

And all this time I thought silver was the fastest because it reflected the light...
