This will be the new billet diff tube on the passenger side.
 
What does the torque tube achieve? Durability when putting the power down on a modified TRX? I can’t seem to find it on Hammer’s website.

It's not listed anywhere unfortunately.
When the passenger tire lifts and regains traction while on the throttle the passenger side diff mount can break. Especially with a diff drop and big HP.
Mine did NOT break because of stress. Mine broke because my diff mount bolts came loose.
Diff drop instructions said use antisieze and i should have just used loctite....

Ah that makes sense. I would be interested in doing both, but I guess it would depend on cost of the torque tube. I’ll have to ponder since I’m stock height but do get on the gas quite a bit…

I talked to Shawn from Hammer Performance a few hours ago and he is confirming the current price as it sounds like they may have raised the price significantly.... Hopefully it's not too stupid or I'll just order a whole OEM front diff assembly and hope for the best.
