Morning people, well it is here in Australia, just a quick intro on my self and company.
My name is Andrew Cassar, 46 YO and i run a small business in Melbourne, Australia which has been operating for the past 25 years starting our journey building Winch challenge trucks, as time went on we changed direction and made a name for our selves building and developing products from billet material to prevent and correct issues that we found in the nissan patrol market, where we started to build components such as upper and lower control arms, front and rear diff drops, etc. As we have been seeing the demographic of the touring industry change and leading from the larger suv market to the American truck Market we began doing some R&d into faults that we were starting to see in these bigger trucks and cv joints and correction was one topic that we hadn’t been able to come up with a solution for, so we began the journey, to develop some thing for the fix.
The trx market here in Aus isnt a very big one as its an expensive truck here. So the market is limited but there seems be no shortage of trucks rolling through the door at this stage and greatfull to a few other companies that have allowed us to help spread the word of this great product that we have produced. We’re always open to feed back and if can be off any assistance please feel free to reach out over the forum or dm.
Attached is a few photos off the diff drop installed and a new axle tube assembly designed for the trx as we have new seen a few break. (The axle tube assembly is yet to make it onto our website but will be there shortly.
Have a great day Andrew

First, let me say welcome and thanks for bringing such a unique product to our attention! I almost missed this thread completely so ya might wanna change the headline to something more eye-catching for the rest of the crew: **BUY THIS = TO AVOID THE DREADED CV AXLE/BOOT FAILURE!!**

Second, talk to us more about install. Any video clips available? What size holesaw is needed and what needs to be drilled?

We run 38s on our Rex with a 2.7" lift. We off-road regularly (high speed and rock crawling) and have serious concerns about CV boot longevity (at a minimum) and jumping based on our current CV angle. Is this product strong enough to handle jumping and regular romping??

I imagine we lose a smidge of ground clearance with this? Any issues with factory skids/etc?

Lastly (for now): how many TRXs are running this kit and what's their feedback been? Do they off-road their trucks?

Hello @On Track 4x4,

First of all, welcome to the forum! I want to thank you for creating such an amazing product. I have a few questions and suggestions:

- Could you please post a video that explains how to install the product? A step-by-step guide would be incredibly helpful.
- I'd also love to know more about what to expect in terms of driving quality changes. Will there be any noticeable differences?
- Is the ground clearance affected after installation?

If this product indeed helps in saving the CV joint, I believe it would be a must-have for all our trucks. CV joint issues can easily turn an off-roading adventure into a disaster.

Thanks again for your contribution to the community!

This drop kit is similar to those available for other brands (GM).
It relocates the fixed axle/diff housing about 1.25" lower.
There is no increase in ground clearance. To increase ground clearance you would add new springs or spring spacers.
There should be no difference in how the truck feels on the road.
Looks like a must have for trucks with spacers or taller springs! Cheers !

Morning Rick, we have spent many hours overs the past 9 month try to get a fix for the drive shaft issues, and this is one part of helping to prevent future cv issues.
We’ve got a heap off kits currently out in the field and have only had positive feed back so far, we’re always open to feed back positive and negative because if we can make things better in any way, we’ll do out best to try and help out.
Kits are in cars that do all sorts off driving from full off road to even just track runs, ground clearance is always some thing we are very mindful off so we tried to loose as little as possible when in the design stage.

Your 100% correct in this one, the most challenging part off this project was because ram mounts the front diff off the engine mounts rather off the chassis. So there was alot off cad work involved.

Did you see the billet axle tube we did to stop the right hand side mount from breaking off??

How about an install vid or the instructions for us to take a peek.

Any drawbacks to this kit, e.g., on-road or off-road performance, stability, articulation/flex, etc or is this literally just 10-15lbs of metal that only works wonders lol?! And what's the warranty period??

Finally, here at the Rex forum we love a good group buy/discount (or maybe that's just me haha). Either way, what can you do for us if there are 5-10 of us wanting a kit??

There are no moving parts to the kit, so wont be any wear or tear, no draw backs in stability, except for the fact you may loose 10mm of ground clearance when the bash guard is re fitted.
Wrath motor sport is currently putting a video together for this weekend so keep an eye out on his socials for a full run down.
As far as pricing goes, it can be found on our website but a sneaky bulk buy through Roy may be happening, so get hold off him and express your interest with him.

When we do toyota and nissan level kits we also do a diff drop to fix the cv axle angles, excellent idea. Oh, welcome!!

Will there be an issue reinstalling the OEM bash plate? We have an aftermarket bash plate thats not light duty/bendable like the OEM one.

That i cant tell you, but in some instances we have had to space even the factory plate by aprox 10mm

Well i just placed an order via Wragth so hopefully it comes with longer skid bolts & spacers (if needed)!

Price was only $626 shipped with pre-order special so definitely priced right!
