Tri State TRX (NY,NJ,CT)

I installed a Retrax Pro XR bed cover, I have the factory optioned OEM Mopar tri fold tonneau cover if anyone is interested.

For now I don’t want to deal with shipping it so if anyone is interested before I list it on Ebay, I’m at exit #33 Long Island Expressway (Great Neck).

I paid $750 w/ tax.
Figure $350?

I also have AMP powered steps on order so have factory running boards I’m going to sell

Back from ceramic coating, anyone else do it? Any talk of a TRX meetup in the area?

Dealership did mine for 3k and the weather is getting nice it would be cool to have a bunch of TRX in the same spot

I'm down for a meet up

@Smoke king things are a little lower cost here in NJ! I gotta guy who is in Saddle Brook NJ that does a great a job. Whole truck and wheels for about 2200, and that was buffing out all the paint defects from Ram. I recommend getting it done, the plastic looks so much better with it coated. Hopefully it won't fade in the sun now

There are some wide fire roads down in the Pine Barrens, I head down there a good bit with my Rubicon. Muddy puddles all over!

Honestly I would be with somewhere with sand like beach but as far as rocks dings and banging my truck up on rocks I'm not ready for that as I would like to enjoy my 100k truck looking good for a little while

My truck was Done in N.Carolina by the dealership and honestly I don't think they did a good job with the ceramic coating but I decided to go with clear xpel instead! I like that better than ceramic coating

I am heading to the Outer banks in August, North of Corolla on the 4x4 beach. Can't wait! You can drive on the beach with a permit in South Jersey, I think around Brigantine.

Do you have to be a resident and can you get a permit for the day like if we all wanted to go day

Whats the deal in CT

NY We can get permit on the beach but I believe you have to get it by a certain date and there's all type regulations

I just want to go crazy in the sand like the video the showed on YouTube to make me want to buy the truck

Yea I never realized there’s a lot of trails. Just stared looking stuff on YouTube one day and asking questions in the comments. There’s also trails behind the Sheraton in mahwah. Just gotta google “trails behind Sheraton mahwah NJ”. Used to go quading there back in the day but there was always cops and conservation enforcement looking for off roaders

Yeah, I've been to the Mahwah trails a couple of times and there are cops lurking around.
