Road trip. Going to spend a bit of time in the DC area for a few museums, mainly the Air and Space and stop to see friends at various places on the drive back.

We may have already talked about this but those are my exact plans as well! Just hope my truck doesn’t get jacked in DC lol. Hoping my truck delivers soon!

Why in the hell can’t these orders go chronologically?? There is two options basically, level 1 or 2. Same parts , just maybe less on level 1. Don’t get me wrong I’m happy for all that go from “order confirmed” to “ scheduled build “ in a week. But this is ridiculous

Lol, it's been a frustration for a long, long time. It's not really a matter of parts or options (for the most part) - it's some mysterious process that's not understood by anyone.

But to set the record straight, there are over 4.7 million permutations of a TRX order.
3 level options (Base, Level 1, Level 2)
6 color options
18 individual boolean options (yes/no) such as Rambars, Bead-lock capable wheels, etc.

3 x 6 x 2^18 = 4,718,592.

Not that it matters, because they just draw VINs out of a hat.

Haha, it was a month and a half but it’s terrible isn’t it? More just funny and sad how little control, oversight and tracking Ram has throughout the entire build and delivery process. I don’t know if this is the norm for all manufacturers since this is the first built to order vehicle I’ve purchased but it doesn’t seem efficient at all. Lots of people getting screwed out of a build while orders like mine went through pretty quickly.

My truck was built may 4th. I still have no window sticker. On the Ram site, it says it hasn’t been built yet. Another useless website
