Tonneau Covers?

For those that plan on getting a tonneau cover for the TRX, what brand/model are you going with?

Leer 700 on all my trucks

I was looking at the Retrax tonneau cover but the sales rep said they don't work with powered tailgate assist. With the TRX TR2 package having the powered tailgate release, I guess I am back to the drawing board.

I have the Fold-a-cover on my F-150 and will not buy that again.

I think they are referring to a CLOSING tailgate, not the damper opening tailgate. You should be able to use the Retrax on the TRX just fine. Will let you know in a few weeks when I get my truck.

Ah gotcha! My truck should be here around 2/10 so let me know if you end up getting the Retrax as I think that is my front runner for sure.

I spoke with a rep at retrax last week about the Pro XR version and he said it will work great on the TRX. Just choose the 2021 1500 version

I'm looking at the Pro XR as well and plan to use the Yakima overhaul HD with it, anybody have any experience with that combo?

No experience but it's exactly what I'm going for. A buddy has that set up on his 2500 and loves it

Cool, would love to see pics when you get it setup, I'm still in D so who knows when I'll see the truck. Already have the Yakima racks I ordered a couple of weeks back, but am waiting on the Pro XR until I know when the truck is coming

EDIT: removing source. My cover came in bent. The seller was useless and sent me to the manufacturer after making me take dozens of photos and exchanging dozens of emails. Go with a forum supported vendor.

I ended up ordering the Rough Country tri fold... near replica of the MOPAR tri fold. Half the price.

I have the Lomax on my current Raptor. I will buy another for my TRX. The customer service from Agricover is fantastic. The best part is that the cover is removable in about 30 seconds, in case you have to do actual truck stuff.

I think there is a vid showing a cover working with the ram bar... maybe TFL .... I think someone recently posted it. Don’t know for sure, so good luck.
