All good to go. Evidently the seat belt chime hack doesn’t work with the Tazer. I wasn’t aware until Samantha at Z automotive told me. Now that the owner has a TRX look for some updates.

2 reset cycles did the trick. For now O have folding mirrors when the ignition is off, turn signal DRLs (looks pretty cool), and Nav input in motion. Not sure what else I’ll use but although pricey it’s worth it IMO

The seat belt chime was disabled by the hack on YouTube. Very easy.

Where exactly is the sgw connector? The sketch in the user guide is not helpful and I hate to be unplugging the wrong thing.

It’s slightly forward, above and to the left of the obd2 connector. It’s actually 2 connector side by side that looks like 1.

Not Google, but I did find it on YouTube almost immediately tapping the Post Reply button. I should have searched before asking, but assumed this was not such a well known hack. Should be good to go.

does the folding mirrors function only work with a connected Tazer DT? I thought that if I set folding mirrors to YES, I would reboot twice and then disconnect TAZER DT, that it will work without it. So do I have to have Tazer attached to the car all the time if I want folding mirrors to work ?

From my understanding it’s a “Live Function”. The unit has to be plugged in and married for it to work….

aha ... so there will be a problem. I thought it wasn't a live feature, so I couldn't understand that the other things I was changing worked and mirror folding didn't.

Weird observation, but if I changed my tire size to anything over 35.30”, the parking sensors would become “unavailable”. Luckily though, my 325/60R20 BFG K02’s are 35.30” tall. If anyone’s having this issue, put it on 35.30” or less & see if your parking sensors come back on.

Yes, this is a known issue with the BCM.

Yes, only works when connected. All functions only work when connected.

All regular features work when disconnected. Only there live features require the Tazer to be plugged in.
