I wish Tazer would release a list of what works and what doesn’t work in the 22’s.

nav in motion and the park cameras for sure don’t. But what else?

I emailed z automotive today to see if they were working on fix for the 22's for turn cam , park camera and nav in motion. Haven't heard anything back yet. Thought by now they would have had a fix since issues have been known for a while.

So I just ordered a Taser for my 22'. The main option I'm looking for is to change the DRL's to Amber and keep the Hood Marker Lights always on.

I've read the instructions on how to do that....but as I read through this thread, I see where the new update automatically does this as soon as the Tazer is married-and there's no need to change in the settings-Is this correct?

Can someone help me out with that understanding? I could be totally wrong-happens a lot

I have not. I received my Tazer but I’ve not installed it yet. I have a service appt soon and I’d rather not have to uninstall right after I install, so I’m waiting.

But, I’ve read through all the manual and I still don’t have a clear answer.

Tracking as I want the same options turned on during driving permanently as well.
Hope to hear an answer soon for your solution as I love the look for the amber lights on and markers as well.

You can set the drl’s and hood lights to be on either day, night, or both in live settings on the tazer. I have mine set for both. So Amber lights during day and night.

But a couple posts back in this thread, I read where the DRL's switch to the Amber turn signals by default, as soon as you marry the Tazer? That was my original question-Was I reading that right?

Yes, but you have to leave the tazor plugged in as it is a live setting.

Ah, that makes sense. But that's also able to be set on Non Live settings as well-correct? It's really the only feature I'm looking for so I had planned on changing that setting and then removing the Tazer.

I did this, & my hood marker lights are on now, I set my amber DRL’s to day as i like my White ones at night.

I picked up my truck on Saturday and installed my TAZR Sunday. I previously had the TAZR installed on my ‘20 Limited with uConnect 4. I updated the TAZR software to the latest and installed it.

Fist thing I noticed is that the uConnect 5 system interrupts the TAZR menu selection much more than it did on uConnect 4. It was difficult to know exactly what screen I was on at times but was able to get it married.

I only want to use Live settings at this time so I set auto mirror fold on, amber LED day, and park cam on. The first two worked fine but park cam doesn’t. I see from previous posts that this is common and being worked on.

Do you guys unmarry the Tazer when taking in for service? I have some stuff getting looked by the dealer and I’m debating if I should wait until after my service to marry.

Had a question do you really need to change the vehicle settings drl location to turn and usa or will the live settings do that automatically. (Eliminates that step??). If thats the case do you need to marry the tazer for live setting or does it work by just plugging in. If so I might just reset and unmarry. @Boosted ?

Any news on adjusting tire size and park sense still working? Honestly bout to toss this thing in the trash. Been really glitchy, things randomly turning off like TPMS.

Needs to be married to work.

You do not have to unmarry to change settings in uConnect. I am not sure on setup for non-USA based trucks however we were able to set up ambers on one of my Canadian customer's truck without doing anything with uConnect.

All amber DRL setup is performed in live settings now if you have the latest firmware (18.1.5)
