Have you tried reinstalling the Tazer after getting the camera issue resolved?

I have not and I'm not sure it's resolved by taking the taser out that seemed to resolve my issue however it was caused by the over-the-air download from Ram. I can stick it back in there and give it a shot and see what happens. I'll keep you in the loop.

I installed last night and all was well in garage. Sad to report that drove truck this morning and came to a stop and brake light came on and it locked all 4 wheels. Shut truck off and restarted, truck would drive in reverse fine but as soon as I put in drive it would lock all four wheels ( I set up with pin code on install and truck excepted code on initial start). On side of road, I unplugged tazer and powered down truck and restarted. Truck is working properly without tazer... back to the drawing board...ugh

You know, that's actually a feature. If you press down hard on the brake pedal (while stopped), it engages the brakes (it's called Brake Hold). You can take your foot off the brake for a minute and relax. When you're ready to go again, tap the brake to release it, or just press the accelerator and it will disengage.

I opted not to do the pin lock until bugs sorted out. Everything is working for me. Only hiccup is truck decided today to start up in baja mode (usually just reverts to Auto). I don’t think this is taser related, however, as I have been driving it more like a granny the last few days and likely my truck tellin me to step up my game haha

Nope. The menu on older firmwares is fucked. Wish you could edit options on pc and just plug it in.

Boosted is just a retailer and end user like us. Yes he has a relationship with z auto but he isn’t part of that company.

I would encourage people that if they have an issue with the Tazer to go to the z auto website and fill out their form. That way the guy who does the programming can get all the info ASAP with all the details.

Otherwise it’s Bill trying to remember what you said and what the details were and he will probably group multiple issues into a single complaint.

For example: A while ago I messaged z auto on Instagram about an issue (nav in motion vs something else) and they said they were not aware of the problem.

It’s not that Bill isn’t passing the messages along, it’s that Bill has a family and a job and orders to fill and products to fabricate and my messages to answer because I bug him a lot.

So fill out the form on the z auto web page and give them all the details of issues so they can do it right.

Explaining on here a few issues I had was answered by other members. Truthfully, 95% of the issues I had was self inflicted..
I had a camera staying on after signaling. I disabled it as I didn't want it. And most prompted menus on 23 dash from tazer are only half wrote on screen. So it makes it a little difficult to navigate especially being new to both tazer and truck.
My advice is to really take your time and read EVERYTHING in online manual and then read it again. Then print it so you can use it as a guide while setting it up in truck.
Rebooting and sleep cycles are a MUST to properly install settings.. do not open doors..do not hit brakes.. I suggest sitting in seat, follow the procedure and I used my phone for a stop watch for sleep cycles.
Hope this help or if you hv any questions, I will do my best to help as I made a few dumb mistakes that made me want to just Uninstall it all together. Glad I didn't, really like.

Good evening Bill.... I did try removing the Tazer/running truck for a day (all normal) and reinstall Tazer. So far all running as programed. Will keep you in the loop. Thank you for your quick response and your time.

Right now I'm only using the amber DRLs and marker lights during day+night feature. Thought I was losing my mind (or worse) when I kept picking up a flicker or something in the cabin. I finally saw it happen and the accent lights will flip off and back on sometimes after using a blinker or for no reason whatsoever. Started only after I began using the tazer finally. Is this known or fixed? Thanks

So this was a known issue? Also my backup camera or backup lights now cut on and off. Not sure which cause it was dark

Simply go into settings and unmarry, 2 sleep cycles, then unplug it and plug the SGW connectors back into the security module.

I have the FW prior to one with PIN lock and have had ZERO issues since purchase.
