START OF 2024 PRODUCTION

There are only 6 select status codes that are made public on the RAM Tracker, so it's updated to match that twice a day in addition to build sheet and window sticker release dates as well.
Thanks what a great service you have provided! So maybe that explains why my dealer says I getting badges put on when you are showing my status as E

Yes, there is no public update between E - FRAME and KZ - FINISHED FOR SHIPPING. The build sheet is made available between these two stages but after the build sheet is up then the truck goes to Mopar for accessories (graphics, rambar, etc) then inspection before being released for shipping.

The 2025 TRX, one of my guys was saying it looks pretty much unchanged. The main thing I was told the rebel would be looking more like the TRX with its new grille. I'll go ahead leak that the 2025 TRX will also have an updated suspension system... Not going to say exactly what it is but you can imagine how you can make an offroad suspension more "customizable."

Only problem is, all 2025 TRX's will sound like this Hurricane H.O. 500hp Drag Pak...

So I’m currently cruising a ‘23 Raptor. Great all around truck. Took it to Outer Banks and drove on the beach and back trails at fairly high speeds and it did amazing. I’ve had it on trails here in West By God Virginia and it hasn’t missed a beat. However, the exhaust sound is beginning to wear on me and that supercharged torque just isn’t there. I am TRX shopping.

I'm not knocking I6 from a performance standpoint just yet.

510/500 Hurricane with the ZF hybrid trans would be 650ft lbs of torque. I think that is what the TRX has now with the Hellcat engine.

So can it get better than 9mpg?

Yes I think it’s a mistake to end the current product. Wonder what the price will be? Better be a whole lot less for 200 less ponies. I understand the price of R&D but the customer shouldn’t have to pay for your failures!!!😱🤫

Yeah I been saying for the longest to grab a TRX now before it's too late. It's the perfect blend of performance and sound and only the Raptor R can compare in that department.

I had guys on the ground tell me at Roadkill nights everyone hated it. Looked slow, even in a stripped out Drag Pak, and the sound was horrible. It would of been a disaster there if Dodge didn't pull back the Hurricane drag races and everyone would of seen how bad these engines performed and sounded. Apparently Dodge pulled the engines from the event because there are some "drag racing application" problems and everyone used the Hellcat engine again. No way people buy a Hurricane Scat Pack next year and it sounds like this compared to a Mustang

That's sad, it might as well have a rainbow on it. Diesel is the only place I'm having a 6 cylinder, count me out.
I'm in the same boat. AMERICAN cars shouldn't sound like the most annoying Hondas and Toyotas on the road

I promise you there will be a Scat Pack you can order in the high 60k range once you add options. No way will Dodge price a Hurricane Scat Pack way lower than a Dark Horse Mustang and that starts at $63k for a Premium Dark Horse

I was wondering why they had Hellcats this year. I remember seeing it was supposed to be the Hurricane. One of the builders even said they had a truck picked out for a Hurricane swap and then that build just disappeared.

Dodge needs to move away from the Challenger name if it wants move forward with the I6 muscle car experiment.
Same with Ram and the TRX. Call it the Rebel TRX or something else.
And if they go this route, that truck better be worlds better than the Raptor because it won't be able to just say 700hp and laugh off the Fords anymore.

I was told the Challenger is moving to the 4 door slot. Probably so people won't be confused about a 2 door Charger Daytona and 2 door non EV Challenger. There is a new V8 in development I heard whispers about because the company is hoping the EV bubble fails and certain political figures aren't in office anymore....

It's probably a good 3 to 4 years away at minimum but there will be plenty of emissions credits to carry a V8 in the future and Stellantis has designed all the platforms going forward to accept Hurricanes, Hemi's, or EV drivetrains. The Grand Wagoneer is a perfect example since it started with a Hemi, then Hemi and Hurricane option, and next year a Hemi/Hurricane/4xe option. You can see during Stellantis 2021 EV day video they had a BEV chassis that still had a transmission tunnel...

Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are kind of open IMO for what engine they use.
People don't really think about big SUVs for anything other than hauling a lot of people/stuff.
A hybrid I6 that can get 30+ in the city works for me. All I am going to do with that is drive it. Maybe put aftermarket wheels on it but thats it.

The trucks definitely have to win over buyers with that I6 sound. Even Ford was smart enough to keep the Coyote around in the F150. V8s and American trucks just go together. And I think Stellantis was very short sighted on this one.

And I still think a ZF hybrid trans with an updated Hellcat could be a 900hp slayer on pump gas and get 30-40 in eco mode.

The big corvette rumor is hybrid twin turbo LT6 making over 1000hp!

If Chevy can do it, Dodge can.

What I bet Ram will do is still make the hellcat TRX after 2024, but in very limited production and tack on a premium for it. Just like Ford does with the Raptor R. Then they will take orders for the TRX with HO Hurrican like business as usual.

The problem with that is they'd have to keep the 6.2 in production for nothing but a few TRX's. not impossible I suppose but I can't see where it would make economic sense for them. Stellantis is all about volume, not nitch markets.

They have to produce them in limited quantities for warranty claims anyway, so production won't completely halt.

I'll miss the exhaust note too. I'll miss the instant power when I'm taking off and the all out wow when flooring it the most. I don't know if I could trade for it. I was hoping to trade every year but now it looks like I'll be driving the 23 for a while. Maybe I'll be able to find a 24 but that doesn't look promising.

I am sure a dealer can sale you one for a premium. "Limited Edition 2024 Hellcat". I am thinking a 10K or 12K bucker admin.

You will get one.
But likely at 10-25k markup.

I thought similar but it will be cheaper to swap a Hellcat into my Jeep then to buy a TRX.

It's one thing to go from a v8 395hp ram 1500 to a I6 420hp regular truck.... but to go from screaming charger v8 to a I6 510hp is deflating. We buy these trucks because there cool and FAST!!!. I can't go slow again

Who wants to go from a 10 thats awesome in bed to a 10 doesn't put out.

The TRX will still look good but will no longer put out.
