So Who Will be First to 1000whp

The straight pipes sound pretty good

Already have a date night with the boys from Hennessy! YOLO right!
You bought their package? Whens the install?

having a hennessy truck is better than an LE.

My truck is scheduled to hit pavement Monday! Hennessy is picking it up when it touches down.
What hp are they saying? Warranty on it right?

2 year warranty, 1000 hp @crank, $42,000
F♡ck it right!
Yes. Fuck it. Nice job. Have a list of what they are doing? Know if they are open to just doing the performance mods? I looked at this but didn’t want some of the stuff in package

But a diff brace? I can see how they might look more closely at other things if you had one but why would they have warranty issues with the brace itself?
There are sticklers too many people trying to cheat the system I think and parts not engineered strong enough for the power they put down now
Welcome to the Forum. Do you have a Trx on order? Cheers

Planning to mod it?

Congratulations make sure you do your research. $40,000 is a lot of money for 1000 hp at the crank and obviously that’s a 93 octane tune
That includes covered hauling to and from Chicago, with certificate of Hennessy authenticity. And screw my children fighting over my messily monies when I'm gone!
Yet good advice!
37's and ram mods included in price
"War" all around versus RAM logos.

Well to each their own, but better way to get to 1000 crank hp without a hennessey price tag imo. Squeezing an extra 300 hp from 700 starting point doesn't take a lot of work. Plus I've seen all the hennessey drama over the years and wouldn't trust them to touch my ride.

Also, none of the hennesey mods show any improvements to the driveline, which is going to be the weakest link on any heavy high hp/tq vehicle. I would want them to install a locking front diff or LSD, upgraded trans, upgraded rear end (possibly), and other parts like cro-mo 4 link, bushings, etc.

All my comments aside having a 1000hp truck with a decently capable suspension would be fun no matter what truck it is.

Drivetrain has a warranty so if it breaks stuff it’s free

Dually noted!

Congratulations that is a hell of a spec. I hope you get it soon. Cheers

Hennessey isn’t going to guarantee drivetrain if you can get it in writing I would love to see it.
Hellcats and 93 octane are getting about 800-840 without pushing and risk of blowing it up.

My demon carnage Stock motor with the 1050 injectors, metco 275 pulley, cat deletes. On VP Q 16 make 940rwhp and with 100 shot 1050 RWHP
I broke outer axle shaft then I put in a DSS 9 inch, with carbon fiber driveshaft

under 30 passes I broke the carrier ring gear that bent the stud axles, before that I twisted the carbon fiber driveshaft and a half. Got all that fixed had a new motor built 1050 RWHP and with nitrous 1200. Fifth pass on the motor no nitrous I ran a 8:96 and lifted a head. Had to go to 625 studs got it back together went back to the track within five runs I broke the E drum in the transmission.

And I will guarantee you Hennessey will not warranty axles transmissions or transfer case no way. The 8 speed transmission rebuild of racing is between 4000 and $8000 the problem with them are no one makes good hard parts like drums input output shaft that is the weak link.

Whos planning to juice this truck to or above 1000 hp the wheels?

how are you planning to do it?

i’m thinking Magnuson 2650, additional fueling, intake, exhaust, Tune. Supposed to be good to 1400.

think the drive modes will still work? Snow would be.... Challenging?
I’ll be there as soon as headers and intake are done. T-10 weeks.

The funny part about this post to me is how many people had to go search Google to understand what you're talking about.

Also 35s are hard enough on the driveline.... let alone 37s.

What'd the 625s get torqued to? I run 155ftlbs on the 625s in my cummins and wasn't sure how they load on gassers.
