Shits getting stolen left and right

Hard to have anything nice these days. I just hid two airtags in the truck, at least if there are any iphones in the close proximity it will ping and show me location immediately even through a shipping container. I figure if thieves use them why not follow their lead. Seems to work pretty good. Still trying to find out if any of the relays can be yanked out with out throwing codes? I use the club too, at least it adds time and noise till I can put a red dot on them.

According to an AirTag video you can use any iPhone to determine if there is an AirTag nearby so can’t they just remove it?

This might be a totally stupid idea, but if they are getting the vehicles to run by connecting a laptop to the OBD port, could some kind of locking cap be made that denies access to the port?

Eventually they would be able to remove it, but it would buy time. Thieves don’t want to be in there long.
What about installing a dummy OBD2 plug in place of the original and hide the factory plug up underneath the dash

Watched this today and got me thinking this could be the way thieves find Hellcats everywhere.
Not long ago read an article about someone finding a tag hidden in his car.
If you go to hellcat gatherings, race on the track often or attend events where people can get close to your truck, watch out.
There seems to be bluetooth trackers that can find these tags.

Please let us know how the ravelco goes.
Did you lay out about $700?
Seems that's the best bet these days. No remote start with that system though, right? That sucks now with the cold weather, but at least helps with theft I guess
I did Ravelco. About 700, yes. No remote start. Seems really safe now.
