RAM TRX Service Departments

Hope someone from the Tampa Bay area has a recommendation.
I had another TRX owner recommend Ferman in NewPort Richey to me as that is where he takes his and has been happy. (He has had his truck for over a year, it is a 21). I stopped in there the other day to ask them about the clunk issue (when starting and stopping) since mine has started doing that. The service writer knew just what I was talking about and I have an appt next week to take it in. I will see how they handle it and will have a better feel for them after this visit I think.

I did previously have them do an oil change with no issues but that was just an oil change.

. . .would you say it’s worth the trip from San Antonio to use this dealership?
I would say yes, it's not that bad of a drive and it would be worth the peace of mind. I don't know of any other dealerships that focus on high performance but work to cover it all under warranty.

My transfer case went out on my Jeep SRT, as the service tech overlooks the vehicle, he tells me that he thinks he heard a bad plug or ignition coil (you can clearly tell that the SRT is aggressively cammed, I've posted a video on here before), I shake my head in agreement with him and say yes and that I can take care of that at home myself, he notes it down that the vehicle has a bad plug and not to mess with it, only check the transfer case. They called me a little while later to let me know that the transfer case had gone out and that they were replacing it along with some other parts all under warranty. I didn't expect them to honor the warranty because of mods. Just good honest people that focus on earning your return business.

Just my perspective.

. . .appreciate the candid reply. Thanks!

Anyone aware of a good service department in the northwest Arkansas area? I’m located in Fayetteville.

In Austin take it to Covert off 183. Ask them to have Omar work on it. He's the Viper tech that fixed my water problems and removed dash to fix it. No problems with it after that. He's the only one I let work on my cars/trucks.

Coastline CDJR in San Juan Capistrano, CA

Kevin Galaviz is responsive and actually cares about getting your vehicle taken care of.
Another vote for Coastline CDJR in San Juan Capistrano. I've worked with Jason Lewis who is super responsive and communicates exceptionally well. Experience there thus far has exceeded just about any other dealership I've been to.

Hi everyone - I am located in Ocean County NJ Barnegat area - looking for a good place to service my 2022 TRX - any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

Karl Klement CDJR in Decatur Texas.
The service tech Brad is the best I have ever used. Had a brake issue on a 2019 2500 that another dealership in DFW, truck spent 6 weeks in the shop with them trying to fix and couldn’t. I took it to Brad and he figured it out in 15 minutes.
