Ram TRX returns Q1 2026

I believe the Raptor R’s top speed is 114mph on 37’s. That’s quick enough for me too.
The market for an ultra high speed 35/37 would be ridiculously small.
If someone wants to go faster why not swap to a tire designed to actually go fast.
114/118 is plenty fast on big squishy tires 🤣

Funny enough I swapped a set of tires to a lower speed rating on a previous vehicle due to stockers burning up too quickly. Granted it only brought the speed rating down to 150ish IIRC.

I changed to tires rated at a mere 168 mph on my Challenger. There's nothing near here where I could go at a sustained 160+ and it's never at full GVWR, so they should be okay.

Besides, the fastest I've driven it is 160 and that was just a short burst, so no real need for a Y-rated tire as from the factory. I'm extremely unlikely to try reaching the advertised 199 mph.

Went down a little in speed rating on the TRX, too, but would still like to be able to exceed 118 mph.

That's easy. $275 and about 60 mins work at home. Really pretty easy for just about anyone that can read English instructions and has a screwdriver.

Just read today that the RAM 2026 TRX order banks are now open and first deliveries are expect in 3q25. (Probably very late 3q, but still.)

Sounds aggressive....

I would assume if this was true then the forum dealers would be posting it all over the place accepting deposits, taking orders etc…
What is the source for that info?

My dealer said if I want one they could order it for me now and that was a week ago I'd got talk to your dealerships.

As we have found out here numerous times… majority of dealers have zero idea what they are talking about. Having worked at one plenty is said to just say and holds zero weight.

Would you not find it strange that the dealer power houses on here, Dan Cummins, granger, etc.. have not said a peep about this? None of the forum insiders have details on order banks, guides anything….

I know. And will get around to it one of these years.

What’s the summary of this video? I’m sorry but I had to stop watching after 4 seconds when he pronounced the word “expect” as “ispeck”
The truck production is delayed to 2026. They have not even started yet.

He could have been mistaken. I didn’t sign up to buy one. Won't without some serious power upgrades. Things move differently depending on where you are. Maybe some can or are just taking soft orders so they can get you going the min it opens. I don't sell cars just passing on what I was told in my neck of the woods. Take it with a grain of salt my man. I didnt say I ordered one just that my local Ram dealership said they could when I was in picking up my boys challenger. Ask your local dealerships never know what you might find. Hell we had a kia dealership selling a 170 and a 2018 in a package deal would have never thought I'd see that. There are dealers on here message some and tell us what you find. If I get free time I will go in see what they say if I tell them I want one.

Could this be mistaken for 2026 RHO orders now open? Could be misinterpretation?

Even if there is a significant power upgrade (say 800+ hp), it still seems odd that a lot of people would want to "upgrade". I think it's safe to assume that the body and chassis will remain basically unchanged - and pulleys and injectors can easily get to 800+ hp for minimal cost. So you are paying a bunch of money for a 2" taller screen, massaging seats and self-driving - and all of the electrical gremlins that come along with the new architecture. I could be wrong, but I can't see large numbers of current TRX owners jumping for that.

My idea of an upgrade is a DC1500, why im not buying the new TRX!

Ported snout + larger throttle body and headers + high flow cats going on in the next month. I will be near 800 wheel at that point and Ram cannot deliver that from the factory. Plus I am fed up with the Ram dealers and their games plus incompetence.

That would be a scary motor to have in this truck. Definitely a riot to drive.
Would be the only reason to get a new one. I'm glad people who missed out will get to finally enjoy the TRX but for me to get another over modifying my current, it's a DC1500 or nothing!

My hooked on phonics hasn't work "sense" birth :ROFLMAO:, but this thread basically tells you what I've already said about the TRX coming in Q1
