Ram TRX returns Q1 2026

A starting price of a 21 or 22 at $70k-$75k was FAIR!
There, fixed it lol. I too am turned off by the price hikes. A base MSRP hike of ~28k in 3 years was ridiculously greedy. They realized they had a great, exciting product and took advantage of the consumer big time. Probably to help subsidize the development of all their EV bullshit. I’d love to trade my 22 for a newer TRX down the road, but only if they reel back the price hikes a little. Right now they’ve priced me out of the market. I’m not gonna pay 110k for the same truck I got for 80k 3 years ago. If they want that extra 30 grand they can suck it out of the tip of my cock.

Everyone here will be dissapointed.
The truck just built that will be announced in August will have the same old HC 6.2L and RHO body.
I bet this will be the '26 and further down the trucks will have newer editions with possible changes, more HP and so on.

We haven't seen mules anywhere and there hasn't been enough time for testing any changes. Kuniskis takes over and they announce the return of the TRX just a few months ago. Suspension, more Hp, all these things take time and testing. I don't see it at all.

If one wants a new TRX will have the shell out $100k for the base same truck we have now.

I bet the good stuff will come in 2027.
Again- why the need for test mules if it’s the same truck? Slap a Hellcat in the bitch and let’s go!

Mules test changes, reason we haven't seen any which is why it will be the same old truck. Let's not forget RAM has bled lots of money, they need to get shit on track ASAP. The TRX died last year as a winning cash cow. By bringing back as it was for now will allow many to freshen up their garages, people who love the truck and those that wanted it and were forced to get the castrated version, RHO. Sales will be good and that will push them to make changes as the market gets hot again.
I think maybe trim, colors, names like "jailbreak" etc.. will be all changes we see for now.

If RAM surprises us with some big announcements it will be shocking being everything gets leaked there. I would love it but it's very unlikely

I also like FORDS approach better than the TRXs was. We had our trucks stay basically the same from launch to death. The R came and was improved for the nextwo years. More power, headlights...

RAM should take their time now. Bring it back from the dead, add Hp with pulleys, small tune in 2027. Ford reacts, they bring the Redeye, Ford reacts, 170 and so on.

Even if everything else is the same, the 6.2L SRT has to be configured to the new electrical architecture. And I certainly hope they take their time to get it right. The quantity of electrical problems that are popping up on the RHO forum is quite concerning.

Unless we get 37’s and a Redeye with over 800hp, I’m not interested. My 2021 is paid for with plenty of extended warranty left on the clock. I guess we’ll see on 8/9…
This is where I’m at. 37s should be pretty easy for them to do. They already have the gears from the RHO. Lower gears would be nice, but the 3.92s will suffice and they are available. The redeye part seems less likely, at least initially. I could see them doing a “stage kit” to bump the power to 750.

Touché!

Surely inflation had nothing to do with higher prices.
Agreed but now unfortunately now we have tariffs. We're seeing 4-6% as of June 1st in equipment manufacturing. Dont think auto makers are far off that mark.
Thats an additional $5k on top and already overly inflated price +ADMs.
Lots of dealers are struggling with cars in lots with 300+ days sitting. They want that $$. If RAM doesn't keep an eye on them it will be disgusting.

It's only money. Dropped half the cost of a new TRX this weekend at the casinos. Bad weekend.

A 4-6% increase seems tolerable compared to a 22% inflation. Maybe they should've printed TRXs instead of money?

Paying ADM on a vehicle makes no sense to me. I've bought some for under MSRP that many dealers wanted an ADM of $10K to $15K for. It helps to shop around.

This forum has probably the least patient buyers out there, lol but as many here said the ones wanting to get a fresh TRX should wait.... hang a few months as better things will come.
Chevy screwed those that paid whatever it took for the ZR1 and announced the X at its launch frustrating them.

More Hp will come for the patient ones.
My friend was waiting for one of the first Rs, paid $160k and Ford announced the newer 720Hp trucks. He was obviously pissed. Managed to sell his spot but it's again worth waiting these days

😯 I'm depressed when I lose 500 at the casino LOL
$500 is just an average bet these days. :) There was a time when it bother me too but my loss tolerance has really increased in the past few years. In a few days I'll forget about it and will try again.

Im calling 737hp TRX. Redesigned intake box with less restrictive filters + throttle body spacer (with patented helix vortex technology) yielded the 35 extra crank ponies. Dyno eventually shows 6 extra whp.

Otherwise unchanged from 2024.

Everybody get ready to pay 120k 🤣

Still excited its coming back though! More aftermarket support and maybe 13 more views on our vids 😂😂

TRX Forum Favs 👍
