Ram TRX returns Q1 2026

It's an RHO. The biggest giveaway to me is the front bumper and the larger painted portions of the front fenders that are beneath the headlights. As he leans forward, the seat has RHO stitched on it.
My thought is between the song and the lack of any RHO graphic on the exterior of the vehicle - RHO seat back stitching notwithstanding - this is a commercial for the TRX. Not sure why RAM would have this commercial for the RHO?

You can believe whatever you want, but that is 100% an RHO in the video. Ram has yet to officially announce the return of the TRX.

Has anyone heard anything/suspect when order banks for the 26 will open? Maybe they’ll be allocated and not available to everybody?

The biggest draw back to 2026…

California CARB

Colorado; Connecticut; Delaware; Maine; Maryland; Massachusetts; Minnesota; Nevada; New Jersey; New Mexico; New York; Oregon; Pennsylvania; Rhode Island; Vermont; Virginia; Washington; and the District of Columbia.

These are the “CARB” reciprocity states where the TRX can not and will not be sold because they didn’t submit for a CARB number.

So this is going to be a very limited run.

So I can't register one here in CA?

Can people just buy out of state like a forum dealer and still have no issues registering in any of those 17 states?

Yes my question is for the 26 that's going to be not sold in those 17 states can it still be purchased out of state and registered/driven in any of those 17 states.

I believe you cant buy and register in any of the above states. The only way to do it is buy, register in a "legal" state and do the title transfer to any state afterwards. I could easily see a spike in Montana registrations..not only to save on taxes ( keep your moral judgment to yourself please) but also to circumvent the guardrails to register in your homestate. Buy on LLC in MT, transfer in your name in any state . Problem is MT registration business that help you set a LLC hate it when ppl transfer in their personal name. The way they make their money is charging you a fee every year as long as you keep the car registered in MT

A lot of risks in doing this if you will be driving it a lot in the state it's "illegal".

I'm sure I could buy one in Utah in normal fashion, then register it here in NM. Come to think of it, I'll find out somewhat soon as we're about to order one once they can be.

Most of the other states would probably be similar, except for California. There it would surely take a lot of work to make it happen.

I dont have a CARB anymore so i didnt think i needed to register :ROFLMAO:

I am going to go with Alaska :) my buddy has a place there and He said for almost nothing I can get a place and a mailing address.
Nice. The issue is that a lot of places now will not let you have your registered out of state. And if you don’t have the title then most lenders also won’t let you register out of state. If you own it free and clear then you can bypass that issue. But for instance, here in AZ you have like 10 days to register your car here after moving.

Bottom line.

No CARB number….As I understand the rules… Not able to purchase, register or drive the vehicle in the participating states. You can’t buy it in a neighboring state and import it. Dealerships can’t buy or sell them either.

It is a very expensive truck.

In my opinion, if you live in a CARB state and there is no CARB number, it’s not meant to be used there.

I used to live in California, and I know for sure it is a hassle to register vehicles in California.
I bought a brand new BMW M2 back in 2021 from a dealership in Mississippi, and I still had to do emission test to register in California just because I bought it out of state.
So, I don't know about other states but if they are going to restrict the sale of TRX in California, you won't be able to register it even if you buy it out of state.
Best advice is... move out of California lol
