Ram SRT Muscle truck…pic released less than an hour ago

According to Ramtrucks.com

2027 TRX:
0-60 in 3.5 Seconds
0-100mph in 10 Seconds
Quarter Mile in 12.2 Seconds
Top Speed 118mph

2027 SRT Rumble Bee
0-60 in 3.4 Seconds
0-100 not listed
Quarter Mile in 11.6 Seconds
Top Speed 170mph

So yeah, it’s faster (especially the top speed). And I’m guessing it will corner better. But as a TRX owner (even a peasant 2021 with only 702hp), I woke up less excited than I was yesterday. I was never really a customer for this truck, and I hope it sells well, but if I’m doing anything stupid with my money I’m trading up for a new TRX.

Let's take this one step further and see how 2027 stacks up against the old 2021 model

To be fair, the published 0-60 times for the '21-'24 TRX was 4.5 seconds. The Car & Driver times for the new TRX/RB might be better than the published times.

Yes, the Rumble Bee SRT corners significantly better than the TRX. It has a published .89g's of lateral grip. Very respectable for a full sized truck.

looks like they're bringing the ceramic grey back. will any of the paint matched pieces fit on the TRX? (fender flares, grill surround, mirrors, headlight trim surround, etc)

A second here and another there isn’t enough for me to spend ~$100k for a new TRX truck. For the bargain price of the 21 and 22’s and paid for truck, I think I am good.

Posted this on another thread about the reveal. New member here and saw this picture and was wondering if anyone knows what the yellow car is in the background. There’s rumors of a new dodge car called the copperhead that journalist have gotten to see and I’m wondering if that’s it.

That’s where I’m at too. It also doesn’t hurt that my truck is paid for.

Add me to the list. Looking at it now the price for my 21' was a bargain all things considered and with no UC5 issues 😂

I am keeping my 21' I am looking at adding another vehicle in the next few months now just have to figure out what......

1000%, I have been waiting on this to see if I was going to trade up. .1 seconds faster? Not worth it. The quarter is a decent increase, but overall, I see this as being a smaller addressable market than a Demon or something with like 1000HP.

You would think RAM would know the universal language by now. Hint: Its HP!!!

I started thinking the 6.4L might be a fun street truck option (depending on price). Only time will tell. I’m just not in a hurry to buy a $100,000 truck and get UConnect 5 as a bonus.

Crew cab yes, but not with a quad cab not enough space with 2 boys, sports, friends etc

It doesn’t fit my family anymore but even if it did, 6 figures for a quad cab is diabolical. I bought a few back in the day and always got great deals on them because nobody else wanted ‘em. It was a crew cab market then and seems to be even more now.

I can see the Rumble Bee 392 w/6.4l being the most popular model depending on price. 65k-75k could be a sweet spot.

Interesting!

Just saw the video from TFL talking about Copperhead SRT rumors. Possible hellcat?!

This was my first question that popped in my head too. Painted flares.
