Race Chip

No,

they are compatible. Race chip still uses the stock tables. The extra boost will proportionally create conditions for the PCM to back off some of the timing. I confirmed shops running both. Race chip is about 60 horsepower and 40 torque. Together they’re seeing about 800 crank horsepower.
What are your thoughts about adding Proflex E85 on top of it all?

I don’t know enough about the hellcat platform. On a raptor… E85 is a tune, even if you have someone savvy enough to do a flex fuel tune, it’s still a tune.

if I were doing e85 and a pulley…. I’d do a tune and probably do an upper pulley and really make some ponies.

if trying to keep it mild, race chip and a lower probably get you some pretty wicked power. You’d need injectors too.

well if that is the case then fantastic.

Racechip will NOT work with E85 since that would require a complete separate monitoring system the RaceChip unit does not have

Look up proflex e85 for me and then get back to me. Its a stand alone system for e85. Racechips seems focused on the blower sensors.

Has anyone had success with this? I realize it's crap compared to a real tune but I've enjoyed handheld canned tunes in the past on many vehicles. I remember thinking hypertech was the shiz-nit back in high school haha.

I'm j/w if this would be pushing the envelope too much given I have intake & predator pulley lol. It is cool that this doesnt require a PCM unlock/etc. I wanna squeeze every drop outta this thing for the next couple years before going upper pulley/injectors/real tune!

Already having those mods and being at sea level… I wonder just how close you are to 100% duty cycle on stock injectors on a cold day.

For what it's worth i have been keeping an eye on the OEM AFR. Always runs pig rich when im WOT. Obviously not as good as an Autometer wide-band but better than nada

What’s is your definition of pig rich? Should be 11-11.5 on stock boost on the gauge in the truck. Which is not actually 11-11.5… have to adjust for the stoich delta on that gauge which is 13.8 instead of 14.7.

Last time i saw it was around 10.5

If the truck was hot then that doesn’t surprise me. The fuel enrichment tables kick in pretty quick for cat over temp. I would expect around 11.0 at WOT at 5k RPM with good intake temps (no pulled timing) and low cat temps.

Yea its blistering hot here in Fla these days

Do you have a chiller and/or plan to get 1?
Will be installing the FI one in the fall when my garage isn’t over 100 degs. Have run them before and loved it. Only complaint was the fittings and was waiting for the plug and play to arrive.
