No trucks shipping

My dealer was able to get something worked out where they were able to go pick mine up from the train yard last week, said if not it would be there for another month, no drivers.

And how are they getting around the union contract?

I've been warning everyone to temper their expectations who are jumping up and down excited about D1, BS, WS over the last month to not get too excited. Previous window sticker to lot under TripleB's data was 14 days to my location and I'm now looking at a minimum of 50 days. It may be a lot longer.

Yup and now 60 days later its still sitting in the railyard waiting to go to dealer with a new ETA of 4/11 to 4/28 , 4th time the ETA was pushed since 3/15
Bet mine is in the same situation, sorry to hear this!

Good afternoon, I am a dealer outside of Detroit. I can confirm that over the past few weeks we have been able to pick up cars at a few specific yards. I can also confirm that on numerous occasions Stellantis has changed the actual pick up day. Further, it is not a driver issue with the transport companies. It is a labor issues with regards to those who "stage" the vehicles for the drivers. The labor shortage is hitting them very hard, to the point that the white collar workers are working on staging cars. I haven't been on the forum in awhile, but please do NOT trust what a dealer, ram customer service, or even an estimated ship date is telling you. At the store I am at we will NOT give a timeframe for a vehicle. If a dealer is doing this, they are simply guessing. Do not put any stake in the status of a vehicle.

Well it's officially been 7 months since I ordered my TRX.

7 Months
212 Days

or

  • 18,316,800 seconds
  • 305,280 minutes
  • 5088 hours
  • 212 days
  • 30 weeks and 2 days
  • 58.08% of the year
But hey who's counting? LOL

Definitely not me. BUT if I were, it would be exactly 270 days to the date and hour.
WHAT THE FUCK. Is there somebody at RAM we can call?

I own a trucking company, does anyone know if they'll allow me to pick up my truck along with a few others for customers?
They will not allow that. A dealer has to pick it up. Certain procedures we have to follow.

It's going to be business school case study when it's all said and done. Actually got a call from Cara's supervisor yesterday. I am not complaining, there is a person who's has been sitting since 1/17 (December order however), but it is telling that not even Ram knows what has happened or is happening with my truck.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I think most of us who have been on the forum for a while now understand that the dates we get are simply what the system shows at that moment and that there is gross mismanagement happening within the process, resulting in slipping schedules.

I was 5 days short of nine full months when I finally took delivery. It was at your timeframe I was just ready to say f*ck it and move on but I actually needed a new vehicle and anything else was just as crappy of a wait…
Remember, once you DO finally get it, then the super vocal majority will convince you to disable your remote start and put a ravelco on because a TRX is stolen every 702 minutes in the US. Then you’ll be afraid to drive it anywhere or leave it parked anywhere because some drunk hit and run driver will target it and smash into it.
Good luck with your wait! Stay strong and keep holding out.

Sounds encouraging! Lol. I'm looking at being over your long wait right now and have had thoughts of just backing out. Especially with the trending lower resale value considering market conditions/fuel
