No trucks shipping

They will not allow that. A dealer has to pick it up. Certain procedures we have to follow.
You come on here pretending to have all the answers but then provide vague feedback. With all the logistical infrastructure and technology why can't Ram tell us what is going on with builds or transport? Such BS. What are the "certain procedures" that are keeping the customers/dealers from coming to get their damn truck? Are other dealers going to pick up vehicles? Why do you know more than any other dealer? You tell us not to trust anyone.......must be great to work for such a fantastic organization!

Right there with ya, today is day 27 in Twin Oaks, Then we will have to wait even longer once it gets to Chapman
Yep, they took way too many orders than that dealership is capable of handling. They just don’t care either. Very poor communication and just keep saying there are 150 orders for delivered vehicles ahead of you. Just like Biden and Psaki blaming Putin for inflation! The 150 number never seems to change. Never goes up or down in what email reply’s I’m fortunate to get. No other dealer that offered equivalent discounts seems to have that problem. Very bad experience! Crazy they never told me my TRX was delivered there on Monday at 8:37am after sitting 30 days at Twin Oaks. Had to get that info from RAM customer service rep on Monday morning. Then when I emailed them, Ashlie had no idea it was there.

IT'S LANDED...
My White L2 has finally arrived at the dealer! Been sitting in Toledo since March 23rd waiting on a transport and was dropped off at the dealer yesterday morning. I sent payment FedEx and will drop by to sign paperwork and have transport pick up for shipping next Thursday on my way to Chicago on business...Get home Tuesday and will be delivered at my office Wednesday!!!
Congrats! Did you order from Cummins?

Sorry about that. We have a set of rules to follow. Any damage not noted at the time of pickup is the dealer responsibility. The car has to be prepped and podded prior to delivery. A minimum of 4 miles has to be put on the vehicle. The podding is ensure there are no codes present, all RRT's have been completed, all recalls have been completed, tire pressure is set, and battery is charged. I never said I know more than other dealers. Just letting you know what is going on behind the scenes. Not sure if other dealers are picking up. It is open to many in the GLBC. They would be fools not to. Given we are about 20 miles from the plant and my entire neighborhood is made up of auto executives from the BIG 3, I have a little more insight than an out of state dealer. And I love the dealer I work for. Feel free to scroll past my posts in the future...better yet, I won't post anymore. Have a blessed day.

Hey Detroit....
No hard feelings meant. There are a lot.....and I mean a lot of frustrated people on this forum who have not been given much communication or answers as to where their ordered trucks are or why/how the delays. Most of us just want some consistent communication about where our $90k trucks are. We get there are constraints in manufacturing and delivering but when the manufacturers or dealer can't tell you much that creates anger. The information you provided was very insightful. You also warned us not to trust anyone....so what the hell are we to do? Talk to your neighbor execs and tell them everyone is pissed and to work on their logistics and communication. I'm sure the forum likes hearing your comments so don't play the martyr for my sake. I'll take a hike!

Not trying to play martyr. I have personally helped a lot from the forum that did not buy their truck from me. I do it because I actually like helping people and want to try and reverse the stereotypes of car salespeople (self inflicted.)
My main issue stems from the dealers. Many dealers continue to take deposits, knowing they are NOT getting allocation. Many are working the system to put sold orders in, letting the customer back out without a fight, and having a TRX show up on their lot that they can then ask whatever price they want. This has led to many of the slowdowns and constraints on these trucks. Further, a dealer ADVERTISING a 4 to 6 week turn around should be criminal. I believe this is where it stems from.
Ramcare is not helping either. They actually called a customer of ours to congratulate them on the delivery of their TRX to our dealer.....only problem is the trucks was stolen out of SHAP 3 nights prior. They provide zero real insight.
The transportation is obviously a huge issue. As it is for the store I work at. I was at 4 different lots around Detroit over the last few weeks. Cars are everywhere. It is NOT a driver shortage. It is a staging issue for the drivers. These are the people that stage the vehicles for the drivers.
I sincerely hope you and everyone else gets their trucks relatively soon.

I second what @dubwingate said... can you talk to the execs and tell them we want our trucks? :ROFLMAO: just the TRX's... nobody else's lol

In all seriousness, mine has been 'shipping' in KZ status for nearly 2 months... fully built just sitting collecting dust... I'm about to fly up and stage these bitches myself. Lol

I mean, can we really complain too much about not having the truck yet since we haven't actually paid for the truck? It's not as if we slapped down a briefcase full of money and haven't seen our trucks yet. Sure it can be annoying with how Ram doesn't seem to manage production or distribution at all but that's all it is, annoying.

I agree with quoting a time frame to a truck being built and delivery should be criminal. I was quoted 9-12 weeks on 9/17.....still waiting for it to be delivered.....

Looks like the tracking system that was hacked is going to be down for another week, so those of us in limbo are going to remain in the dark for a while. Supposedly it's also what the dealer uses to track the shipment so contacting them won't help either.

It has been down. Very frustrating.

With this system down, is it possible dealer has the truck and is unaware? I was told by ramchat last week it as at the dealer, yet Chapman has still not told me anything or any updates.

It is possible, however with so few cars on our lots, it would be an extremely unorganized dealer.

They would know its there.

Of course it would be Chapman! Mine has been there 10 days now and still have no paperwork sent to me.
