No trucks shipping

Probably doesn't help or make anybody feel better, but for whatever it is worth:

Call up Ram Cares/Ram Chat, and get yourself "elevated" to a have a "Case File." They will assign you a case number. Mine is 82421420.

Unfortunately, it does absolutely ZIP in terms of moving things any faster. What is does do (so they claim), is that will allow automatic notification via email every time your truck's status changes in Ram's system. May save you some time from chatting with Ram every day as all they do is lookup your stuff in that same system and let you know if there was a change. This enables "push" rather than "pull."

And every time I think I have it bad, I just read @Neenah 's posts and realize, "OK, it's not THAT bad." lol Hoping it arrives soon for you my friend!
I have this set up and so far I've got a couple emails about the progress and the last was when it entered shipping phase with no ETA (KZ). Think they will send a email when a ETA is established when it starts moving?

Let us hope. that is what I am counting on at least.

Truck has been KZP since 3/22, with a delivery window up to 4/5. Ram chat now estimating dealer delivery 4/13. Ordered with Miles at Dan Cummings, as I understand it there are 7 TRX's waiting for a truck to deliver them to his dealership. Apparently there is a shortage of truck drivers.
Is and will be a shortage of drivers that’s something that if it can be corrected can take years. That also might be the reason ram slowed trx production It might not only be parts availability for certain options that might also be the fact that they have no place to put the trucks once they produced if they’re going to sit outside in a lot.

I was told by my sales guy yesterday that Ram is no longer taking orders for new trucks until they can catchup…so it is all the way up and down the supply chain. Who knows when we will get our vehicles..

I was told it was going to be around the 5th. Of never.

Makes sense since model year change over is July august lets see what happens with availability by than with inflation and higher interest rates most people finance

I was told my truck was available for pick up at the factory but the very next day it wasn’t. Now it might be again & I offered to PAY out of pocket for a flatbed to go get it and still have no clue what’s going on.

That is wild!!!
Yup and now 60 days later its still sitting in the railyard waiting to go to dealer with a new ETA of 4/11 to 4/28 , 4th time the ETA was pushed since 3/15

I still don’t understand how people have ETAs and delivery estimates……WS 3/9…….ETA…..TBD

People posting ETAs at D1……🤣
On the poc when you hit D1 you have a esd, people mistake this as estimated shipping date, esd is the date that the truck is built! should stand for estimated start date

That does make more sense….but my dealer or Ramchat was never able to provide me even that date

Ask your dealer, they have that info after you hit D1

I did weekly, he had nothing. Then I got the BS 3/4 and WS 3/9 over a weekend. Logistically it would seem detrimental to produce a product that has a defined destination and endpoint to sit and rot in storage taking up space, imagine if that product had an expiration date, the whole process of choosing VINs to build and thus ship seems ass backwards.

Maybe it does have an expiration date, a customer who backs out of their order, but that doesn’t hurt the company because it’s sold to the dealer anyways, Stellantis doesn’t care about the end user, and that is quite evident in multiple ways.

Exactly. Once it is invoiced and leaves the factory, FCA has their money and doesn’t give two flying fuxx where it went.

Although, they SHOULD.

Any boots on the ground have any updates? My truck is wasting away in a shipping yard and I'm pretty much over RAM at this point. Throw me a rope here. Is there an end in sight? Are any trucks shipping at all?

This is just nuts.
My dealer was able to get something worked out where they were able to go pick mine up from the train yard last week, said if not it would be there for another month, no drivers.
