I think there is an option to reset without erasing settings and an option to reset that does erase settings.

I just did a factory reset. Oh boy, lost all my settings. Lol. We'll see what happens after it loads. Probably nothing.

I factory reset it. Everything is back to normal. Hellcat graphics, correct icons. I mean as before the update they just sent out. Probably won't last.

Was on a road trip today and after my 2nd stop, the entire screen in the center went blank. Tried holding down the power button numerous times, restarting the truck and nothing. It thankfully started working after my 3rd stop, but I went without being able to do anything with the radio, nav, or vented seats for awhile.

@RamCares? Any update on this? Over a year now where my in dash nav and drive modes don't work appropriately. Pretty ridiculous.

I would also love an update on this. I am in the same boat as the two posts above me. I am currently in the market for another Truck and I will not even consider Ram as the TRX I paid for has been broken for over a year with no end in sight.

@RamCares i know i have a few pm's unresponded a couple years old. Aside from that, yes a global update on the uconnect continuing issue is overdue as well

I understand that @RamCares csnt do anything at all. And I’m not sure they are even forwarding our issues.

I think we just need to voice our complaints and issues on the Stellantis and ram social media posts. Let people know that once they have your money they won’t fix any issues.

I know RamCares really can't do much and I don't think anyone should expect much from them and that's not knocking them it's just not their role. They can help with dealership problems etc, but this way above their pay grade.

I said it before I am shocked its taken this long and actually gotten worse for so many folks. It's like their whole software was hacked and now they are sticking band aids on it from some bad software programmers and it's only making it worse.

I wouldn't buy another vehicle with UC5 until this has for sure been fixed. Yes I have the slower UC4, but it works!

Owning this truck has been the biggest cluster F of any vehicle Ive ever owned. Plagued with problems, awful dealership experiences, and stuff like this that they just dont care about. The truck is cool, as are the hellcat variants coming out, but there is 0.0% chance Ill buy one based on my experiences. Certainly know Im not alone here.

I honestly can't say any bad about the truck. My local dealer has been great and I have had no major issues in 33k miles. If I had UC 5 then I would be losing my shit daily

33k miles in over 5 years??? Yeah I wouldn’t have had any issues either. It’s hard to have problems when you don’t drive it. And since it’s a Slow Hydro Blue, you’ve probably never used the Performance Pages.

I feel the same about my 2023, even though I have only 7k miles on mine. Other than the graphics being wrong for a while, UC5 has been glitch free. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Ram truck.

I had this happen over the weekend. It took about 10 minutes to fully load the screen. Then this (see below). Now about 75% of the time of restarting the truck, the screen reboots.

So out of curiosity I stopped by my dealer and jumped in a 26 RHO, attached is the version number. The drive modes works as they did in our trucks before the "endless updates", stop, start, and graphic fixes. It also had the stupid app market symbol in the place where the radio station would play. I havent had any issues of freezing and rebooting since I had my radio replaced, but drive modes still don't work and still have the symbol. Graphics and gauges remain correct as well.
I think all the crap they sent out jacked mine up @RamCares
