I got a call back today from Stellantis and after the call a follow up email, that I am posting below without any details of the sender (for obvious reasons). Looks like they are aware and detail the proposed fix and timing below

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed concerns regarding the Uconnect 5 system on your RAM TRX. I want to acknowledge the frustration you and other TRX owners have experienced with the recurring software issues and the impact this has had on your ownership experience. Please know that your feedback is taken very seriously.
I am pleased to inform you that Stellantis has scheduled a forthcoming resolution for the telematics module concerns. A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) that will be covering the R1H Radio Over‑The‑Air (FOTA) update, which will transition software versions from T27.46 → U29.44 → U35.36. This update is designed to address the programming inconsistencies you described and improve overall system stability.
The bulletin applies to 2023–2024 (DT) RAM 1500 pickups equipped with the Global Telematics Box Module (Sales Code RDG) and Uconnect 5 NAV radios, including:
8.4" Display (USA – UBL / CAN – UEL)
12.0" Display (USA – UBQ / CAN – UEQ)
14.4" Display (USA – UBW / CAN – UEW)
The rollout of this fix is currently scheduled for April through June 2026. Updates will be delivered via Firmware Over‑The‑Air (FOTA), ensuring that affected vehicles receive the corrected software without requiring a service visit.
