New screen with update?

2. Confirmation of a Service Bulletin tied to this issue.
3. Clear communication and coordination with dealerships, so they know how to support affected owners.
4. Transparency on what caused the issue, how it's being fixed, who is impacted, and why the impacts reflect different VINs differently.

@RamCares you still have not responded to my 10/1 post.

I emailed [email protected] on 10/1 to report the situation. They asked me for my VIN on Friday 10/3. Saturday 10/4 my uconnect decided to update (not to U35.26) to U29.44.
U29.44 is terrible:

• drive modes: switching to custom, automatically reverts back to auto
• gauges have a new display format. The text covers up the gauge range. See pic.
• on performance pages, the HP range is decreased. Now has a upper limit of 500 HP.

I had an update when I got to work this morning. I clicked install and haven’t checked to see what updated. But something is happening. I was on the latest 35.26 software.

mine kept screwing up and would even shut off on its own sometimes. I did a factory reset, still has old graphics and isn't updated yet but at least over the weekend it has been working.

35.26 has my graphics correct for V8 and supercharger. I'm still low on the HP/Torque range for the graph on the propulsion page 1 and even lower on graph range on page 2. Lol...and my Torque on page 2 is in Newton Meters not Ft-lbs.

My drive modes are still messed up. Keeps reverting back to AUTO and will not allow me to make all the adjustments I could make before these FOTA started dropping.

I haven't checked everything. I'm sure there are other problems I haven't come across yet.View attachment 152206How’s the dash NAV option ?

I'm still sitting with no Hellcat Graphics even ever coming up. Never have, and I'm about done. This is the biggest bunch of BS I've ever had to experience in all of my cars.

You can see by the pictures how these graphics are made for our "gen 2" Uconnect screens, everything smaller, off-center, just a mess. Because people are stupid at stalantis and they push out an update that should never have been pushed out. In their mind, one size fits all.

@ramcsres are you even aware that the 21s had Uconnect 4 the 22 had Uconnect 5 but without digital gauges, 2003 and 2004 had digital gauges, not to mention the final Edition and all the other special editions had unique graphics, I'm guessing you don't have a clue. So. yeah, let's just send out an RHO update for everyone that's exactly the same, so we can all have work trucks, I'm surprised they're not rainbow colors.

Look at the pictures, This is what I've been seeing forever since they screwed this whole thing up. And I'm on 35 not 26... still no over air updates...just this...no difference... they ruined my final Edition TRX

And look closely at the small Graphics that are made for a different screen, they're even off-centered. And notice on the gauge screen how it has an up and down arrow for one screen of gauges. Nicely done Ram nicely done...

And I love seeing that 400 horsepower on my Fe, so cool

until you turn it off and back on. It's done this about 4x now since the update, never did this before.

@RamCares my screen is glitchy to say the least, it’s basically worthless with nothing working. I dealt with the hurricane motor image for months but I’d take that over not being able to use my screen at all. What is going on here? 2.5 years with my 23 trx and nothing was wrong and now it’s inoperable with an update? Can I please have my original software back and opt out of any auto updates?

after factory reset everything has been working fine. Keeps asking to update now and keep hitting "later". Annoying you can't just de-select OTA updates.

Are you guys getting directions forced to your gauge cluster now? I normally have my cluster set to display whatever music source I’m listening to so I can see the artist and song title. Now, if I am using CarPlay and Google Maps for directions somewhere, the direction arrows are forced in my cluster. I can’t get rid of them from my cluster. I have the heads up that shows it and I have it on the main screen but now I have it in a 3rd place which is my cluster which is super annoying. This on top of the fact I still get the Uconnect startup error every f’ing time I start my truck. I don’t know how there’s not a major recall or class action suit for this giant of a f up! Everything else on the truck is great but the user experience with the infotainment just sucks!
