This is literally an off-road Baja truck, not a stop sign to stop sign racer.

That being said, it’s weird ram would advertise 3.5s 0-60 not not hit that- although we still havnt seen anyone try it at sea level with a non press vehicle that was heat soaked running all day long.

Milesperhr was able to get 4.1 in his press unit. So will a fresh unit on a non heat soaked day hit 3.5? Maybe, tbd.

Im not worried about it. If you ego is really hurt that your brand new 27 TRX can’t beat a raptor r, ram has a solution for you and it will still be cheaper than a new raptor r- even before ford dealer mark ups of 20-40k.

Yeah, I still think the trx is an amazing truck. Just feels a little disappointing.
Just like when the g90 came out with 100HP more everyone thought wow!! Until they realized it gained 1000ish pounds from the hybrid system.

I do still think the new Trx is a great truck but it appears it’s a bit of a letdown from what the headline figures suggest.

Maybe with the random redeye bits it will be more capable with mods?

Stolen all the time is a broad statement. How? Are they doing relay attacks or towing the car? No security architecture can fix that. This new system just prevents them from plugging in a tablet and make a new key. To stop relax attacks you need igla or keep your key in a faraday pouch.

Totally incorrect. Spynex is a better IGLA. Stops every electronic attempt. Just removed an IGLA an hour ago and replaced it with spynex, IGLA will never do what we are doing and have coming.

I bought my truck to have fun and will race pretty much anything. I’m not worried about the new TRX or Raptor R. If I get outrun I’ll be excited to see what they have done, because that will be a very fast truck.
What I don’t get is people who are worried about performance discussing stock times. Why would you stay stock if you want more performance?

Dude my stock ‘23 is so scary quick and badass with my Pedal Monster turned all the way up and in Sport Mode… and my ‘27 will be brand new and just as quick or a tick quicker??? Fuck yeah.

I’m “supposed” to give a shit if another vehicle is faster? Just because something else may beat me in a 1/4 mile or 0-60 by a couple tenths doesn’t mean it’s as badass as my truck.

If you knew what an installer has to go through to get IGLA to actually work in a vehicle especially a newer one because they keep messing up the firmwares ect then you would understand why spynex is better. Ours works, does better immobilization, multiple redundancies and the company isn’t full of incompetent russians that are like a revolving door in st petersburg. Yes the headquarters is there. Always has been apparently. They just lied to us and said its in slovenia, so theres that too. Spynex is 100% european developed and made, chips come from the good ol’ US of A, not china like IGLA. If you knew the full story you too would say f&$@ IGLA

Ever have a hobby, sport or passion where there was a score? Not necessarily a score even between you and someone else but between you and you. Some guys go out and play golf and get drunk and don’t keep score and couldn’t care less over time whether they improve or not. Others track scores, handicaps, work on course management, etc all to improve because they have a drive in that area and passion to improve. Put me in the latter category. I’m sure pretty much every single person on this forum has some passion that falls into this category. If you don’t then you fall into the category of thinking everyone gets a trophy and you probably aren’t very successful in life. Might not be golf or a sport, might be a hobby like RC planes, or it might be their career, or their business or their ability to preach the gospel…or cars and racing. Everyone on here has something that they actually care about enough to know the difference between whether they are improving or falling behind…something where that tenth of a second or the equivalent in that area matters to them. From your statement, you are not an auto racing enthusiast. You have never had a project race car where every tweak you made, every bit of blood, sweat and newly invented curse words, was in an effort to find another tenth or two. For some folks, it does matter. Shitting on them for your lack of ability to get outside of your own perspective for 5 seconds doesn’t exactly make you look like the kind of person that others are happy to know. Careful…the forum does need a new scuba Steve.

I could not care less about 0-60 times, but do want a pickup that accelerates quickly from 60 mph and above.

I have no clue what street tires and lower suspension will do in real street result with these trucks. Should be definitely noticeable though.

Lower weight will definitely help the Rumble Bee as will the shorter tires, by effectively lowering the gearing.

If you have a passion for going 0-60 quickly, a 6800 lb truck is a very poor choice and you should realign your thoughts about this passion
