Had the clunk in the front end fixed as well as the clunk in the driveline. Nothing real exciting.
I thought those pics looked familiar.. I'm for Missoula too.this truck is awesome. Glad your loving it.
Wait till you can try launch control
Congrats on the TRX order. I promise it will be worth the wait. Let me know if you ever want to get together. There aren’t a lot of TRX’s in town.I thought those pics looked familiar.. I'm for Missoula too.![]()
You’ve done a fantastic job on your build and it looks great! One more angle from the other night.

I appreciate the compliment as well as the help with getting products for my truck. You make some high quality stuff, and I’m happy it’s on my truck! You’ve done a fantastic job on your build and it looks great!
So when life gives you lemons (or in my case a busted light bar), you make lemonade. After having my Oracle Light Bar installed on March 24th, I noticed moisture starting to build up. According to Oracle this is normal, and there is a vent to open to let the moisture out. While that was true, the moisture killed a couple of the lights in the light bar. Now in theory Oracle may have warrantied the light bar, but with the clear bar on back order, I decided I was done screwing with it. My favorite accessory shop found a Vision-X Light bar that fit in the mold of the Oracle housing.

New Vision-X Light Bar (ignore the dirty front of the truck, it’s been a wet Spring).

I have the same truck, same color. I thank you for your build posts. I have followed your lead on the behind the grille lights and a number of other items. After my light install by my local electronics guy, I measured the lights off the center cut out on the grille and it is off by a little less than a 1/4 inch. The driver's side light is further away from the center cut out. You lights appear to be the same. Silly anal AF question, but is the grille cutout not symmetrical? So when life gives you lemons (or in my case a busted light bar), you make lemonade. I honestly have no idea, I’ve never looked that closely. Maybe @Boosted can chime in as it’s his pattern?I have the same truck, same color. I thank you for your build posts. Beautiful photos!
I totally get what you are saying because I am just as anal as you.... lolI'm just anal AF . . . it's no big deal. @Boosted - The mounts and instructions were great. Although I question whether the install instructions were followed correctly. The installer seemed to struggle with it as there were other issues. And it's not the lights that need adjusting, the hole cut in the back of the grille is what appears to not be symmetrical. If I had to do it again, I would have done the install myself.
lol. Thanks for the feedback. I suspect that the pilot hole was off a bit. No one is going to notice . . . but it still pisses me off.I totally get what you are saying because I am just as anal as you.... lol
Sounds like he may not have had the pilot hole in the exact same spot, left to right. The honeycomb grille is symmetrical and the pilot holes which determine where the cutout will end up are indexed off the same spot of the honeycomb grille on both sides.
If it bugs you too much, you can always open up the hole slightly with a foam sanding block and even them out.
Thanks for the reply @Boosted. I don’t see any issues with mine, but my installer has done great work for years.I totally get what you are saying because I am just as anal as you.... lol

I will say this, Oracle did send me a new light bar after multiple folks had other issues. I’m going to hang onto it for now. Not sure where I may install it. I have @Shifts_And_Grins lower light grill kit waiting to go in with a Diode Dynamics yellow light bar next week. I’m hoping this will help in foggy and snowy conditions. What freaking company would tell you that moisture inside of a sealed white is a normal thing and all you have to do is drill a pilot hole to let the moisture out, that’s craziness!
Bottom line these light manufacturers are just toys and they’re all pieces of shit, I wouldn’t be surprised if you could pick one up at Walmart.
So you get what you pay for, really the only way to go nowadays is with rigid industry products you’re going to pay for it but you’ll have the best and they will always work and you’ll never have to drill a pilot hole so the moisture can get out because moisture will never get in!
In the past prior to all this new technology the only like to get was a Hella HID and those were cost in about $700 apiece. With this new like technology and the quality of rigid industries it’s amazing how much more light you can get!
