More TRX trucks stolen from SHAP

Keys are always left in the vehicle prior to shipping out on a trailer - when you have 500-3000 vehicles on the property there is no way to track who has the keys - they usually leave them in the cup holder……
Guess we could just go there pick out the one you want and drive it home. LOL

I'm less than a mile away. I'm going to stop by and pick up a second one tomorrow. By the way, I drove by there last week, and the smashed up gate from the previous theft is still obliterated.

At least it seems they have good taste. No mention of any Chargers being stolen.
Why you gotta be like that. 👊😂

Anyone ever find out the VIN’s on these stolen ones ?
Yep, I can tell you that the Track Hawk was mine. It was released to shipping on Dec 10 and just sat at Jefferson North waiting to be shipped. Dealer said it was taken from a shipping yard. I was never told until March 11 that it was indeed stolen and according to the article above, it was stolen on Feb 28. I’m SOL now because it was one of the last builds in early Dec and 2021 was last year for Track Hawk. I was to pay just $1000 over invoice.

Damn, I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve always wanted a trackhawk my self.

Very sorry to hear that. But after seeing an article with one being stolen, it was fairly obvious that it was yours.

If it's any consolation, I'm much happier with the TRX than I ever was with the 'Hawk.

I know it won't help, but I had a 2019 Trackhawk and although it was the most insane vehicle I ever owned, I had to sell it. Any trip over 3 hours and my right hip would start getting sore. The longer the trip and the worse the pain got. I drove it from Las Vegas to Sturgis S.D. and at the end of that trip it took me 10 minutes before I could walk without a limp. Same thing on the way back. Most uncomfortable seat I ever had. I tried various pillows and seat pads but nothing worked. No other vehicle I have ever owned has caused this. My Jeep Wrangler has a much more comfortable seat.

For whatever reason, these vehicles are very easily stolen and highly sought after by the aspiring rappers and dope bois. The mopes will joy ride them for a minute, but most of the higher end are more than likely being torn down for their drivetrains.

We take more reports of of CJDR vehicles than anything. I doubt the keys are being cloned through a repeater, but it's a possibility. The Dodge dealership gets hit often and they're in/out within seconds. No keys needed, they use an electronic device to spoof the vehicle to think there's a key fob and they drive right off. The dealership doesn't seem too concerned either. They refuse to lock up the nicer vehicles and/or install better security cameras. They just make the insurance claim.
