Nothing wrong with Chinese, I tried to take it in College back in the day and I was a dismal failure. Love the language just can’t understand it. Like all of the technical discussions about offset , camber, tow.....CheersI don't see anything Chinese about it...![]()
Much better!Slightly less trolly novelty plate.

Thanks @CalicheI have found that it works flawlessly once connected, the downside is that I have to unplug and then re plug the usb connector after I start the truck. It takes a few seconds for it to then connect. Cheers.
Thank you.
I wouldn’t hesitate to do this on a white truck as well, especially with black rims. In fact my sense is that it would work with any color with black rims. Would it work with the beadlocks? Someone would have to guinea pig that. The grey plate/emblem might be visually appealing as a transition point between the silver in the wheels and the flat black bits like the bumpers and fenders ... or blacking it out might make it look better by removing one of the colors. It’s actually one of the reasons I didn’t opt for the beadlocks, cause I didn’t feel like dealing with too many variables to reconcile.
How would you black it out with a white truck? I ordered the bright white with the TRX on the side but now having second thoughts after seeing this truck. I think the blacked out look is bad ass. I am curious to understand how you would black out a white truck. Any easy way to remove the TRX on the side of the truck? I paid extra to add and now having second thoughts.

Roger that. I appreciate your thoughts and agree that its too much to try to change the white at this point. With the idea of less is more, I am thinking of just eliminating the exterior TRX graphics that I added for $500. Is that something that is easy to remove or would I have to come up with a way to cover it?Ok so first of all just to try and give you a little perspective, I often look at white stormtrooper TRXs and wish I had ordered one.
That noted ...
The only way to really change the base color of a vehicle, other than repainting it, is through a vinyl wrap. In order to get your truck to look kinda like mine would be with a matte black one.
That said, if you wrap your truck with a matte black vinyl wrap, it will not look the same as mine. Opaque PPF like xpel stealth may 'mattify' the finish, but it still lets it partly come through, ultimately resulting in what could be more appropriately called a satin finish. In the case of my truck, the metal flake in the paint still affects how the truck looks with the ppf on top of it.
Although I like the creativity that can be done with gloss wrap films because of all the colors that one can use that aren't available from the factory, I am not a fan of matte finish vinyl wraps. I find that they dull the finish of the car too much. This is completely my own personal taste so don't let it dictate what you do, I don't mean any disrespect to those that choose to matte vinyl wrap their vehicle, and I know this sounds weird from someone who is using xpel stealth and has a factory matte painted car on the way, but it just doesn't look the same in vinyl. Also vinyl wrap will give you little to no paint protection.
TLDR, do what makes you happy, but be mindful that for better or for worse, there's no way to wrap your white truck to make it look exactly like mine.
PS. There is one exception to what I've said above. It's a new product that's offering pre-colored ppf film in limited versions, and one of them is matte black. I haven't seen it in person, haven't talked to anyone who's used it, so I cannot tell you how it will turn out other than looking at the same pics you are looking at. But if you're feeling adventurous you could spearhead it for the rest of us.

i put those on my wife’s Range Rover. They are badass.Ok so the Bora 1.5" spacers came in ... but I don't want to start a whole 'thing' arguing about the pros and cons of wheel spacers ...
As mentioned before I ordered mine simply to gage offsets and to put on for a few days while I wait for my wheel setup to come in.
However I have to say as far as spacers go they're very impressive. They're incredibly well built and there's something quite appealing about how they look and feel. If one decides to use spacers I would recommend them from a build quality standpoint.
As far as whether it would be wise to use them long term the answer is I just don't know. I know that in the Wrangler community they use them and beat on them under extreme off road conditions, but those vehicles don't weigh half as much as the TRX, so I don't know what affect using them will have on road, much less off road. Oops, I guess I did want to start a whole 'thing' after all.
Here's a pic ... they're pairs of two bolted together.

I just tell them I have always.......... had a high forehead.Super easy, your dealer can peel the stickers off at delivery in a few minutes.
Or you can just point a hair dryer at it for a couple of minutes and it'll peel off, then wipe with goo gone and you're done.
And before anyone decide to say something about why in the world would I ever own a hair dryer ... I'm not bald, I'm balding. Why won't anyone honor the ding?![]()
That sucks......I was thinking about those Welds at one point for my TRX.
Bummer I was hoping the 18" would clear without modification.Ok so the Weld Ledge 6 wheel came in and it was time to take it and the Fuel Shok one to the shop to mock them up for clearance.
A couple of things to note between the two wheels. The Fuel one pops out more for a couple of reasons. First it's monochromatic so it gives the impression of being bigger than the Weld. This is normal because when you paint a lip a different color it gives the impression that the spokes are shorter. Also the Fuel wheel brass color is lighter than that of the Weld. The Weld design and attention to detail is superior to that of the Fuel Shok. It's in the spoke design and in the way the lug openings are integrated into the design.
If both cleared I would have chosen the Weld Ledge 6. However for whatever reason the Weld doesn't clear the top of the caliper whereas the The Fuel Shok does. Not by much, as in a few mm, but it does. The inner barrel of the Weld wheel however sits on top of the caliper.
I'm scratching my head trying to figure out why? Both wheels have the identical specs of 18x9 with 19mm offset. Could the barrel really be that much thicker on the Weld? Could it be more concave for some reason? Maybe someone has an answer for this. But the bottom line is that the choice has been made for me and so I'm going with the Fuel.
Here's a couple of pics of the difference in clearance. I didn't have the hub rings with me but I can't imagine that it would have made more than 1mm difference.
