The way FCA operates, things like order date and VIN number don't seem to play a role in determining build order.

Yep - they play no role whatsoever - If order date (8/18 8 am) or vin (73) meant anything I would be driving my LE right now.

I will call them today. But as I said, they have not been helpful at all.

I had the same problem, I think I shared this with you on another thread. But I checked with the FCA chat, and the guy told me that my name was associated with the order. So today I texted my sales guy at the dealership, and he texted me back with a new screenshot of my POC which shows my name, scheduling priority 1, sold order. I didn't want to raise a stink but I wanted to ask "so how does this happen after you guys telling me it was impossible to change the order?" Anyway, Knightmare tipped me off to a 2/1 build date so I am feeling a lot better about the whole situation, hopefully we'll see a D1 on that POC soon. Good luck!

I think sometimes if you are not in D1, nothing is etched in stone. I was in D status back in October. Fell back to BG for a few MINTHS and just recently went back into D with that potential March 1 date. I will feel confident when I see D1 though because that’s a much firmer place to be. Fine work you are doing Knightnare!

Even being in D1 isn't etched in stone. It all depends on the line. How other builds are going, robots going down, parts shortages, etc. Even your truck making it down the line isn't set in stone... for example the truck that fell that may or may not have interfered with another truck around it...

But we will know next week... fingers crossed for the Anvils coming down the line next week..

I was pulling random vins at first that I knew. I have to submit the vins and wait for them to come back from a few locations.

I would bet that next week you will change to D1, Knightmare said earlier on this thread that ststus should change within about 2 weeks of build date. Cheers
