I’m new to the forum, so please excuse my ignorance. I paid a deposit on a dealer ordered truck. According to the order sheet, it was placed back in august. I haven’t received any information from the dealer except that attached sheet below (which at least has a VIN). No other information regarding anticipated date of delivery. Originally was told December or January at the latest. I didn’t get an email from FCA and the salesman has been less than helpful to say the least.

AshDar, if you click the link above and fill out your info, these guys will start researching your info for you, and notify you of changes in status. Knightmare indicated that he was going to focus on August orders, so that should include yours. I've been sitting around trying to guess when my truck would get built, driving myself crazy, but when I gave them my info, I got a date within hours. I can't wait to call my sales guy at the dealer and tell HIM that there's gonna be a status change on my POC to watch for. THANKS KNIGHTMARE!

I am from Chicago too and I have flown one way to Burnsville to buy trucks before. I have had great experiences at smaller suburban dealerships. Unfortunately for us, a lot of the car dealerships around Chicago are owned by mobsters, children of mobsters, or wanna-be mobsters. They will lie and steal. I have a great (terrible) story about Mancari lying and stealing.

With that said, I think it was a good decision to buy elsewhere. If you are in D status and did not buy from a scumbag Chicago dealer, I would not worry about anything. We have to wait.

No. Some still in D status but it should change to it within a couple weeks of the date. All you guys who are 1/18 builds see if your dealer is tell you D1 status
