I AM LIVID

We have an MSRP dealership tracker. Maybe we should also have a turd bag dealership tracker. We have had a few of those morally bankrupt dealerships come on the forum to try and sell their trucks with large ADM. I think the consensus from the group is they should go pound sand. I can tell you when I started this process I called quite a few dealerships to see who had a stock order that was not spoken for. Out of all of the dealership I called only one asked for ADM for their stock order. It was only $5k but it told me something about their dealership and I can tell you I will never step foot in that dealership or any other dealership in their group just to make my point that I believe ADM is a morally bankrupt process and it is my belief they will rip you off on every other transaction you try to do with them be it part or service in the form of price gouging or just add a few extra hours to the ticket or maybe sell you parts you don’t need.
Had the same thing happen at Classic CJDR in Charlotte. Guy priced it out over the phone, then sent me a sheet with an additional $8,500 slid in there with no mention of it. I went silent. He texted me a few days later asking “what it would take to get me into the truck”. Told him I was going a different route in terms of my vehicle...that route was directly to a different dealer who charged me sticker, with a minor add on (bluntly explained as small profit when I asked, which I respect), no other bullshit, and earned a customer for life!

I got up at 6 in the morning and drove 2 hours to Keffer RAM in Charlotte, NC after being lied to by a sales rep on the phone about the price of this truck. I confirmed with Chesley Holston last night that TRX 902665 was on site, for sale, at $90,XXX. I explained to her that I would be driving 2 hours in the morning to get there and buy it first thing when they opened.

I got there and signed the credit app and she disappeared for a while and came back with a sheet. She said they wanted to hold of running my credit until agreeing on a price (as I was getting a notification from Mint and Chase that a credit inquiry had been made.)

She laid down the sheet with a $20,000 ADM and I lost it. I am a very polite and respectful person as I work in retail and understand how awful people can be. Well, that went right out the window. I told them I drove there to pay the advertised price plus their obnoxiously marked up ceramic coating of $4,XXX, which was not mentioned anywhere.

I went back in forth with a sales manager, Dalton Tassinari, to attempt to negotiate the asinine ADM that I was lied about and got no further than 10k. I demanded to talk to whoever he was talking to and spoke to Julius Tindell, another sales manager who essentially blamed Chesley for the whole thing.

Obviously it’s not all of her fault. They know exactly what they are doing. Bating people in with a false price and hoping they either pay it or buy something else. I am so angry and will never purchase ANYTHING from them or their auto group. Not that they care. I’m sure I’m just another “Karen” to them, but at least I’m not a crook. I’ll absolutely be contacting Stellantis, whether they care or not. Had to ask Dalton multiple times for his card. He was clearly hoping I’d forget it.

If any of them are on here, thanks for ruining one of my few days off. I hope nobody buys that truck from you.

edit: I forgot to add, they did give $40 for gas. Gee, thanks.

So sorry you were treated this way. Unacceptable. :(

That blows! Dealers can be c.... suckers. I placed a deposit yesterday on a truck due in 3-4 weeks, had him order mopar electric running boards and trifold tonneau cover. He calls this evening and tells me he f up’ed and forgot he had the truck sold before me. BS, he found some other jack hole that offered more than me. I was going to buy a 392 Ruby from
him for my father. F him! And I recently bought a delivery van from him. Puts a bad taste in my mouth. Makes me want to go buy something else. I was thinking 720S but might be time for that Aventador! Already have a V10, would love a V12!

I know where it's at....The owner David “Dave” Eisele Baum died a year ago....But the brewery lives on...
Whoa, he was young too. Did not here that he had passed.

Read this thread earlier today. Immediately sent an email to my dealer to confirm that there's no ADM when I arrive to pick it up. Now I have written confirmation that they are selling me an LE at MSRP with no ADM...WHEW...totally got worried after this post.

Life is short. Don’t let these dirtbag dealers steal another minute of your time. Move on and find another truck. Good Luck!

BBB is a private business. They aren't doing jack shit.

On another note I received a reply to my review with Stacy asking me to contact them...

Sure but I like the full court press from all angles. Violence of action is more important but if I can set a bunch of fires they have to deal with I will

Nicely done.

They tried the same thing on me. I specifically asked that they confirm the were selling the truck at MSRP, even after filling out one of their “lock in” on-line sales thingys. They responded that they added coating and some tracking thing and added$20,000 to the price.
They STILL have it listed at MSRP ON cars.com. Not a mistake at this point, they are hoping to shaft someone.
NOT COOL

Let the dealers make their money now because in 2 years the TRX is going to sit on the lots much like the Jeep Gladiators are sitting on the lots now, especially since every auto manufacturer feels the need to electrify their products even though NOBODY is asking for it much like they forced us to drive grocery getting crossovers.

i think Gladiators are sitting in lots because they’re about as cool as the Pontiac Aztec...
