Dress poorly and show up in a nice car... that's my new favorite tactic... or was before COVID. All of my purchases this past 12 months have been site un seen and have them delivered to my house or the front of the dealer. Highend dealers have no problem with internet or phone call deals. Jeep dealers can't seem to figure that out.... They keep telling me to come down to negotiate. When I say now, they seem to just go away.

Penske BMW in North Scottsdale. The great salesman left this past year and went into mortgage sales. His name is Brogan. I didn't keep track of any of the flakes.

All the exotic dealers where I used to live are in the same area so when I would go check out Lambo or Rolls or whatever I would go into Ferrari. It took at least 10-15 visits for at least 30 minutes each for someone to say a word to me.

it was the receptionist asking me if I would like coffee or water. I said “you know what, thank you, water would be great. Also thank you as I have been coming here for a year and nobody has said a word to me”

to be fair this would normally be when I am just cruising from a cars and coffee on a Saturday morning... typically wearing shorts, slippers and a t shirt with visible tattoos

15 years ago I used to have an office behind the high-end dealerships and I would walk to lots on a regular basis. I got to know a salesman at Porsche and would often ask if he he had anything he needed to move. I did this for probably a couple of years without buying anything.

I think he was surprised when I finally bought one, cash and then didn't pick it up for two weeks while I figured out our to surprise my wife. I think it was a great deal... out the door (including 9% sales tax and all that crap) about 10% below MSRP on a loaded up Panamera Turbo S. That was an awesome car.

COVID and kid schedule. 14”!! That’s nuts. About 12 yrs ago it dumped two feet and it was one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen. The islands are stunning when covered in snow

Glad to see them on a good run this month, but way too much drama and a bad idea to build trucks incomplete the way they do. Cnterline, thanks for posting. I have always wondered, if I may ask. What’s the police officers take on a 700+ hp truck on the street? I mean, shit this thing is speeding inside of 6 secs ( 2 secs if you are in town). So let’s say an upstanding professional tax payer is found romping a vehicle like this at over 100 mph on an open road with few others around would that person find themself cuffed and escorted to the facility?
I’m asking for a friend.

If you get stopped fir whatever , just do what the guy says period , and apologize ,if he asks how fast you were going “ I honestly don’t know “ that’s it
