How do you get your money?

I'm a regional product trainer for BMW. So if you deal with a BMW dealership in my area, you should (hopefully) encounter knowledgeable staff lol
If not then hey this might be my last big purchase for a while :ROFLMAO:
It took me about 8 trips to the local BMW dealership over the course of about a decade before I was really acknowledged or taken seriously. On that 8th visit I met a very knowledgeable young salesman that sold me my first BMW, an X7. I sold it after about 9 months but the overall ownership experience was pretty good.

The trick is to act like a jaded spoiled brat. They then assume you are shopping on your parents dime.

tell the sales manager to get you a bottled water. Once they bring it, if cold say you wanted room temperature, if room temp, cold. Stuff like that

Good ideas.

Generally, I make the impossible happen on a regular basis. At times I have been referred to as an enabler for people who are or think they are HNW individuals and I do my best to protect these individuals from themselves. Along the way, I do a lot of M&A work, sit on several boards and sometimes act like an executive. Cars are my release.

Interesting. I also sometimes act like an executive but have this constant inner monologue going that slips out if I get too relaxed.

“inner monologue”

Sorry to hear that! Do you remember the dealership and salesperson names?

Based on the title, I get my money from the ATM and various accounts via check or cards. Unless you won the Lottery, nobody around here just 'gets' money.

I bought bitcoin from $5-$400. Lol
Wow! Congrats if you held on! I got in around 7k. I threw in all my savings(which wasn't much at the time) and sold a car and put it all in. 70% btc and the other spread over half a dozen alts. The alts did surprisingly well. I also got in on yearn early. 🤑

Held onto some. At one point I had over 1000. Hindsight but can’t really complain. It paid for my first exotic car.

and an island populated by prostitutes and questionable decisions

I had a good experience with an M3 and Brecht BMW in Escondido back in the day

roasted the clutch doing silly car tricks in the first 5000 miles. They replaced it under warranty
