I am technically "new money". I invested in bitcoin and alts a year ago and now it will pay for this truck. It has also allowed me to quit my auto tech profession of 19 years to start restoring muscle cars. Doing a 69 GTO Judge now. Looking to get into trading to, at some point, quit working because these old bones are not what they used to be haha. I was thinking about doing a thread like this earlier today. It seems like a lot of the peeps on here have plenty of expensive toys and it made me wonder the same thing.
I am in the Instrument & Electrical department at the Valero Refining Company on the Texas Gulf coast. So I'm just a regular blue colar hand with expensive taste.

Some oil field guys do extremely well, but not so much this past year. 2021 is starting to look a lot better. Guessing you are much more steady at the refinery?
