@HeliPilot what years were you are Space Command? My dad was a civilian architect in the Air Force for many many years. Spent a good portion of them in the Springs at Space Command. Still remember touring Cheyenne Mountain as a kid.

Shit right now Harley should be paying people to come into the dealership. It’s some really tough times. I hate to watch it happen. I normally bought a new bike every 2 years but have slowed down a bit. Last January I traded my 2016 Road Glide Ultra that had over 41,000 miles on it for a 2019 Road Glide Special. I could have purchased a 2020 Road Glide Special for the same price but they stopped making the adjustable vents in the fairing. If your a hyper miler like me you really want to close those vents when it’s in the 30s and 40s for weather. Not sure if I will ever be able to sell my 2019 now that they no longer have vents that close. I may have to ride this one until I can no longer ride.

Yeah, swore I wouldn't buy another HD after # 18. Played with BMW's for awhile, just not the same even though much better bike. Now HD is going back to a clutch cable after years with a hydraulic clutch...WTF. A new CVO is pushing 50k OTD. And we think the TRX is stupid money!!

Attorney here.

Started a law firm 11 years ago - just me, a biz partner (50%/50% ownership) and one part time contract lawyer. Mostly in the tech space (I'm an IP licensing lawyer).

Today we have 8 full time lawyers, a few part-time lawyers, 2 full time support staff and 2 part-time paralegals. We just made the part-time lawyer who started with us a partner (gave him 10% of the company) as he deserves it and is a good guy.

Dabble in the stock market but not a day trader. Still have a mortgage and bills like everyone else so not ballin' like some folks here, but I do well enough to not really worry about money and I can usually buy what I want to buy. That said as a small business owner always some stress about the economy and the twists and turns of owning your own business (my income can fluctuate as much as 40% year to year).

Some days I wish I was a librarian (less stress, less responsibility) but first world problems. Hope to retire between 60-65 (I'm 49).

Was diverted to GF a few times (in the 80s). You had SNIRT storms there and we didn't at KI so, would divert to GF because of snow but if there was a SNIRT storm we would get grounded there! I never heard of SNIRT storms before GF.
