Effective, Inexpensive, Simple Security Device

Unplugged the neg battery and pressed the brake pedal to try to reset things.

Still won’t start

I've had my factory relay in and out several times testing my mobilistics relay and never had a problem. I've never had the relay pulled overnight, but I don't know why that would be a problem.

A couple. I just pushed them down and some were not fully seated. 1 Relay and few small fuses

@Tom488 help a guy out!

I don't think they can be put in backwards, but worth a try if you haven't already
The relays can go in either way (I've done it) - both work.

Only suggestion I have is wiggle it to make sure it's really seated. If you want to test it out, touch a pin to the + side of the battery, and get something to ground the opposite diagonal pin to ground. I can't recall if the terminals are labeled on the underside of the relay, but if they are, you want to use #s 85 and 86. If they're not numbered, and you get no click from the first test, try the other diagonal pair. You won't hurt the relay by doing this.

If neither pair produce a click, the relay may be bad. You can try swapping it with K08 (the front wiper speed relay - on the far left), and see if that does it.

ETA - sounds like it was some loose fuses/relays... did you get it to start?

He was tired yesterday when he parked it and removed the relay. Couldve very well hit adjacent relays, fuses when he took that one out. If he stopped posting he's driving, most likely.

Turned out to be loose fuses. There were loose ones under the dash too.
I checked there after the others found.

I just got off the phone with Sirius getting that reset. The radio fuse was loose and it lost all contact.

Kind of. Pissed because I paid 2 service hours for granger to check all that stuff.

And now they won’t take my call. They got their money.

I guess I can kick rocks

I was thinking this before I removed it. That’s why I took a pic to make sure I replaced it in the right direction. And made sure not to effect anythjng.

One thing I do know is my limits hence stopping early driving

at least you found the issue. Have a safe drive.

Exactly, my thought as well. I have the shock sensor as well, so hopefully it will help with deterring potential thefts. Most thefts knock on the window or truck before breaking window (test for alarm)
Which shock sensor did you go with and did you have an alarm shop install it? And does it work with the factory system or did you have to buy an aftermarket alarm system?

I do not have my truck yet, but I went with http://addshocksensor.com/products.html

It works with factory alarm and will have local shop install. They are doing it for ‘free’ with other work I’m having done.

The Addshocksensor.com is a 4 wire install. 1 ground, 1 fuse tap, 1 always hot and 1 trigger wire. Super easy from the looks of the install from the video the guy sent me. Possibly take less than 30 mins. Works with factory fob. Sounds horn at the slightest vibration or of the door is opened without being unlocked.

I’m going to start a thread. Found out why the fuses unseat when not seated fully.

Received my starter relay today. Add a shock sensor next. Now I just need a truck to install them in. Thanks for everyone’s input. Love this forum!!

Anyone install a killswitch that isn’t a Ravelco? Thoughts. Live in Mi and no Ravelco around here.

This thread is all about one. Mobilistics starter interrupt relay.

I can vouch for the Mission Darkness bags as well. I've been using one since I got the truck and it works great.
Have you checked yours recently to see if it is still blocking the signal? I bought the Mission Darkness Faraday bags from Amazon and they worked at first not letting me start the Truck. It would say FOB not found if the KeyFob was inside the bag. Now 30 days later it no longer blocks the signal. Anyone else notice if theirs stopped working?
