The relays can go in either way (I've done it) - both work.@Tom488 help a guy out!
I don't think they can be put in backwards, but worth a try if you haven't already
He was tired yesterday when he parked it and removed the relay. Couldve very well hit adjacent relays, fuses when he took that one out. If he stopped posting he's driving, most likely.ETA - sounds like it was some loose fuses/relays... did you get it to start?
I was thinking this before I removed it. That’s why I took a pic to make sure I replaced it in the right direction. And made sure not to effect anythjng. He was tired yesterday when he parked it and removed the relay. Couldve very well hit adjacent relays, fuses when he took that one out. at least you found the issue. Have a safe drive.I was thinking this before I removed it. That’s why I took a pic to make sure I replaced it in the right direction. And made sure not to effect anythjng.
One thing I do know is my limits hence stopping early driving
Which shock sensor did you go with and did you have an alarm shop install it? And does it work with the factory system or did you have to buy an aftermarket alarm system?Exactly, my thought as well. I have the shock sensor as well, so hopefully it will help with deterring potential thefts. Most thefts knock on the window or truck before breaking window (test for alarm)
I do not have my truck yet, but I went with http://addshocksensor.com/products.htmlWhich shock sensor did you go with and did you have an alarm shop install it? And does it work with the factory system or did you have to buy an aftermarket alarm system?
The Addshocksensor.com is a 4 wire install. 1 ground, 1 fuse tap, 1 always hot and 1 trigger wire. Super easy from the looks of the install from the video the guy sent me. Possibly take less than 30 mins. Works with factory fob. Sounds horn at the slightest vibration or of the door is opened without being unlocked.Which shock sensor did you go with and did you have an alarm shop install it? This thread is all about one. Mobilistics starter interrupt relay.Anyone install a killswitch that isn’t a Ravelco? Thoughts. Live in Mi and no Ravelco around here.
Have you checked yours recently to see if it is still blocking the signal? I bought the Mission Darkness Faraday bags from Amazon and they worked at first not letting me start the Truck. It would say FOB not found if the KeyFob was inside the bag. Now 30 days later it no longer blocks the signal. Anyone else notice if theirs stopped working?I can vouch for the Mission Darkness bags as well. I've been using one since I got the truck and it works great.
