Dram of the Day

Well after being inspired by the “leader of the band“ I have dangle my toes back into the waters.... And am thoroughly enjoying some Angle Envy... So I thank you Mr. Soulsea for the introduction. Cheers
Nice. You on the bourbon or finished rye? The finished rye is soooo good! I drink it way too quick. Have to have cheaper for my daily.

I probably like the Black Ridge the most right now but lean towards port barrel or charred sherry barrel finishes. Then I have the obligatory handle of Bulleit Rye

Alright. I have my shopping list. Should only be around a grand.

Yeah but my wife would argue that she could use it when I’m dead from poor life decisions.
This is why I’m not married. All I make are poor life decisions but shockingly it hasn’t killed or beggared me yet.

also, you’ll be dead so does it really matter?

Well we now know who needs a ride home cause they started drinking already lol
Don’t judge me. I only give up one vice at a time. Right now its hard shell chicken tacos.

If the pic seems blurry, you are shy two snorts!

Gentlemen,

I’m going a different direction this evening. Let me recommend the Maestro Double Diamond tequila if you enjoy a good sipper. It’s a reposado, floral and earthy but no oaky character on the finish. It’s unique and absolutely delicious. I picked up a case at a huge discount so we are even making margaritas with it.

Secret recipe for you margarita folks..... Here’s how to keep it simple and knock the socks off your guests. Use a basic Jose Cuervo mix with the 3:1 ratio of mix to tequila but add 1/3 as much Grand Marinier and grill some oranges a day or two before. Then, soak the tequila with the grilled oranges for 12+ hrs and you get a fantastic finish that marries the flavors well but has that unique top shelf feel.

They didn’t have wilderness trail but had quite a few. Applejack Wine and Spirits in Denver area has a great selection and prices. Their wine selection is really good.
