Yeah just acquired them.... previously posted that I have been inspired to dabble back into the Bourbon realm..... give a guy a minute will ya?

Again, not an expert, just an alcoholic.

Big fan of the Blade & Bow, also really like the JR cab cask. EC SB is a good staple bourbon, nothing distinctive about it but always enjoyable. Haven't tried the Ben Milam nor the JR twin oak. Not a fan of Dickel rye but a lot of peeps like it a lot.

More importantly, tell us what you think when you drink them.

Ha thanks ... believe it or not I don't actually drink too much as I don't enjoy the feeling of inebriation, I just really enjoy the taste of spirits and the little 'smoothing of the edges' feeling one gets by nursing a couple of dinks throughout an evening.

Speaking of which ...

Having done literally nothing today (or in recent memory) to deserve it, I thought I would treat myself this evening by cracking open one of my all time favorites.

Also to get @HiElevation 's judgmental gaze off of me for not drinking the good stuff.

Nice. You on the bourbon or finished rye? The finished rye is soooo good! I drink it way too quick. Have to have cheaper for my daily.

The next bottle I buy is going to be the finished rye...since you sing its praises.
