Just an FYI, you can trade in out of state and still get the tax benefit of the trade (depending on the state you make your trade) I traded in in Washington and they paid the tax difference between the two vehicles to my DMV in Idaho. I’m not sure of the situation by you, but you may want to do some research.

Thank you.. I definitely appreciate the input. I do know they can do that regarding documenting the purchase price less trade in and I think I would either pay taxes when I get back to Fl or maybe that state could collect it.

I was more concerned with trading in to a state that is very far way. I would have to drive my truck there or ship it which could be a pain. Definitely doable though if the deal was right. Thanks again!

You can try Lake Elsinore dodge but they will start with 30k ADM. I spent serious time( almost a week) “trying “ to work with them. Got them to MSRP for a truck and at the last minute they threw a 4K add on for nitrogen filled tires and other bs. If you got the time and extra cash. They got at least 3 as of yesterday. In person is the best way to deal with them.

Jim Browne has two RAM locations, Dade City and Tampa. I believe the inventory for both stores may display in each other’s respective sites however, Dade City does not charge ADM, the Tampa store does. I know it seems strange. Ask for Travis (only one Travis in sales) at the Dade City location. Good luck.

The craziness of car buying is exhausting and It is my least favorite thing to do. Sitting in a dealership makes my blood boil . I drove 6 hrs to Atlanta to buy my last car and it was the best experience ever. In and out everything done before I got there. With this car being in such high demand the dealerships act as if we owe them something idk $20k extra. That is just crazy to me. If you could afford the car before you can’t now because you just added an extra $200 min to your car payment if you don’t have an amazing trade in. So to all of those Msrp dealers ty and they should be held to a high standard. I just don’t like games I’m straight forward and to the point. I love these forums I bought my last car the same way everyone is so helpful. Thanks.
