Colorado TRX Owners

I'm starting to guess my TRX payload will be around 1,100 lbs. @tripleB I think is going to work on possibly calculating TRX payloads based off of options selected to give folks a more accurate guesstimate until they receive their truck.

May have been a key influencer for some when selecting the options of building our trucks if we knew all along how much each option would take away from available payload.

Hindsight is 20:20 :)
There is an owner support section that details this along with features of our trucks. I have the sunroof, so it adds a few pounds...

Looking to sell tire carrier when i receive truck in a few weeks. Located in co springs area. Dm if interested.

For us Colorado TRX owners here in the Denver area, this weekend will be a fun test to take the truck out in the 20 inches of snow we might get.

Really looking forward to playing in the snow with the truck this weekend!

They said you to 5' at one point, not sure if BS, but I hope it happens. I have yet to use snow mode, but I've been VERY impressed with its handling in the snow running up I70.

I’m so jealous. Mine just sitting 30 miles away getting snowed on while everyone is bashing through snow drifts. Jerks. Haha.

I heard a Rumor there was another one around the Lyons/Estes Park area and I seen a Red one at the gas station in Lyons on Tuesday. Anyone on here? On a side note they said I'm suppose to get 91" up at my place.

That would be insane. We need the snow/moisture, a little more spread out would be great.

Not sure about everyone else in Colorado, but I had an absolute blast driving my TRX in heavy snow on Sunday and Monday.

I had at least 20 inches of snow at my house with drifts up to 4 feet. I drove the truck with my wife and kids all over side streets and we literally drove through 4 feet drifts like the truck was just cutting through butter. Didn’t get stuck even once. Only problem I had is we had to remember to pull over and unpack the snow from the front of the truck air intake.

Played with driving it in snow mode versus driving it in sport mode. Driving in snow mode was amazing but a little boring because it kept the truck moving in a safe and manageable way with the most traction possible in the snow, definitely the mode I would want my wife or kids to use if they ever drive in snow. Of course I put it in sport mode and turn the truck sideways with 360° in both directions, my kids were screaming for more and my wife was crying to go home!

Absolutely love this truck, once again it continues to amaze me on its capabilities and marvel engineering.

Just picked mine up on Thursday of last week from Kansas City and drove home. Would’ve love to go and play in the snow over the weekend but was too timid with the truck being brand new! I know I know I’m a wuss. Next snowstorm I’m all about it!

Mine is in production so hopefully have it soon! Will definitely have happy neighbors with the cold start once it arrives haha

Absolutely beautiful truck! Probably smart to baby it during the initial break in. I didn’t start getting hard on my truck until I hit 900 miles and I’m currently at 1200 miles. I follow the break in meticulously and check my oil and other fluids about every other gas tank fill.

Enjoy your beautiful truck!

I took mine out and hammered though a bunch. Was good until a long 5' drift on a corner got me and I high centered. Had to dig under truck to get traction. Was a blast

I’ll be planning a trip to Colorado Sandune‘s in Walden very soon. I’m thinking late April or mid-May and would be cool if we could get several of us TRX folks together for this trip.

The Walden Sandune’s will be another extreme terrain opportunity for us to push these trucks in a safe place. I can’t wait for my first jump!
